While he's lacking on the cleans, that's never been his style. So it's understandable. I figured that the album version was heavily produced to make the cleans acceptable. Hopefully he's getting vocal training, I'd like to hear him do more cleans but with better technique.
Agreed. And I hope he's getting vocal training too not just because he'd be a better singer but also because he could seriously damage his vocal cords if he continues like that.
You both realise that this performance was a couple days into a big festival they were playing at so that’s why is voice sounds shot when sining in a clean voice

@@amaze2n nice, Hetfield isn't a great singer, I've seen Metallica about that many times, don't really notice the average vocals live like you do on CZcams.

Why is it not on viva the underdogs
5 songs from this set weren´t on Viva The Underdogs for some reason - Wishing Wells, Vice Grip, Cemetery Bloom, Writings On The Wall, Shadow Boxing. No idea why they weren´t included, though. Should've been there on Viva, atleast the mixing is better on all those versions. I can barely hear Luke's rhythm guitar on this one.
