Wa 'alaykum Assalam wa Rahmatullah Yes brother, when you read the Quran, rather than worrying about when will I finish reading/reciting this Surah, it is more beneficial to think how can I get guidance from what I am reading from the Quran. This will lead to pondering the Words of Allah, and by the Will of Allah that will be from the means to strengthen one's faith & increase in guidance "And whenever there comes down a Sûrah (chapter from the Qur’ân), some of them (hypocrites) say: "Which of you has had his Faith increased by it?" As for those who believe, it has increased their Faith, and they rejoice." Surah at Tawbah 124 Allah Knows Best May Allah Forgive our mistakes & shortcomings
