His early stuff was so great.......
Yeah. I marvel at it sometimes.
The latter records are over produced, with the drums ridiculously high in the mix and Jason's heartbreaking singing and wonderful lyrics buried in the mix. They should be remixed to put him front and centre.
man, I would have loved to be there!
I got that Wall Tapestry from my cousin in 96. The only other one I have ever seen in person was at this place in Bloomington. Cool to see again.
11:11 Nervous Bride. Prachtig nummer.
Thank you for this! A lovely set.
Today was his birthday. Thanks for this
Thank You for this
kinda sad seeing this as someone that lives in bloomington now, wish i was around to see all these shows
Absolutely perfect. Thanks for another amazing upload. Somewhat unrelated but I figured you'd be able to answer-do you happen to know if there are actually any recordings made under the names Songs: Unitas or Songs: Radix floating around? He references those projects in the 1998 Eventide interview but I can't seem to find much else.
Sort of...He recorded an album in the summer of 1995 called ‘Albion Radix Unitas’...it was supposed to come out on cassette in 1997 but never did. You can find an entry for it on Discogs.
@@songsohiavideoarchive4221 Ah, that would solve it, thanks so much.
Didn't he used to work here too?
There were two record stores in the same building (CD Exchange and Roscoe's CDs and Cafe) - Jason and the guys who started SC worked at both.
Anyone know what tunings he uses?
Where are Joyner and TMG sets uploaded separately to?
They’re on the Tract Records page. You might also search “Simon Joyner CD Exchange”.
