Agreed, I love NI but man some of the software is soul crushing to use.. Maschine 2.18 and Reaktor both can be infuriating... especially when you need efficiency in your workflow
Patching in Reaktor 6.5 is SO annoying for some reason. Somehow, they messed up the mouse’s ability to control the wire connecting to another node. I had to downgrade to 6.4.3 just to keep my sanity.
Maschine + MK 2 with one big display like mpc touch live 2 , standalone without adapter , and the option to install and use every plugin users like❤would be FANTASTIC

I am wise enough not to read too much into this video. But I hope that it is a signal of the direction that Native Instruments is going in, particularly with Maschine. Superbooth is a big event for those in the "dawless" community. Whether or not you subscribe to the dawless mindset (I consider myself "semi-dawless"), the success of events like Superbooth and the growth of the CZcams "synthfluencer" community is a sign that boutique analog (well, mostly analog) music machines are making a resurgence. I believe that one of the reasons for this is that more musicians don't just want to spend most of their time pushing around a mouse to make music. They desire the tactile and interactive nature of real-world analog instruments. It would be great to see NI capture some of that energy in both their hardware and software growing forward (especially for the next version of Maschine hardware).
For example, I would love to see more instruments like "Low End Modular", but that just aren't aimed at lower frequencies and cinematic scoring. How about an instrument inspired by the Vermona Perfourmer (or the Elektron Analog Four). Or a drum synth inspired by the Erica Perkons with deep NKS 2 integration. One of my favorite CZcamsrs is Frederico Chiesa (aka Oora). About a year or so back he gave a favorable review of Maschine+ that received many positive responses in the comments section. Why not consider a collaboration with him for a new Play instrument, Maschine expansion, or something else altogether?
Finally, just make the Maschine (software) a DAW already . . .

The new blue and red ones are announced as being solid unlike the "legacy" ones which are translucent, but the images on your websites look identical besides the labels.

@@NativeInstruments You sadly do not, you are selling the keyboard at full price and just offer a reduction on Komplete when buying the keyboard. But I already own Komplete 14, that's why I want the s49 mk3.
