QUESTION: When using your Fib Retracement in "log" view > Do you use the "Fib levels based on log scale" checkbox? (or are you doing all your chart work in "regular view"?
Linear and Log are the two ways - my charts are always in linear I share unless I say specifically they are log. Yes, you should be sure to check the log box in trading view for Fibs if you are using log scale.

Thanks man, great video! I was just wondering how long do you wait to know if resistance held before trading the move up or down? Does it depend on the timeframe of the chart you're looking at? (i.e. -1h chart, 3h, daily, etc)
Hey James, how long to wait - if you ask 3 traders, as in people that trade for a living you will probably get 3 different answers. I enter trades often times on smaller time frames such as 1hr. But, I base all my patterns, strategies off the daily.
For me, if that 786 Fib gets a daily to close underneath the resistance, that gives me decent confidence. Ideally I like 3 daily closes beneath a resistance, law of 3. But doesn't mean I would wait 3 days to trade it. It's confluence that my small time frame entry may indeed be strong resistance. Trading is all about probability, not certainty. If I enter on some asset at $100, because the 1,618 is there, and price hits the 1,618 and is rejected, it doesn't mean I exit because the next daily candle goes to $103. That's why we use Stop losses.
A common thing my trading friends do, and this is in many nooks too, is enter on a retest - so daily candle hits the 1,618, you think it's strong resistance, it bounces off, goes to $96...a day or 2 later it goes back to $100 at 1,618 and struggles again - many of my friend would short that retest with a stop loss.

Hey, it depends when we get this correction, how deep it is and if we come back up for new ATH or if we make a lower high - will affect the timing. But yes, forecast is the same, market has never ince in history put in the market low in front of a recession. Which means, SPX will take out 3500, BTC will take out 15,6. Until then, we have this correction brewing, a rebound and see where we are at price and time wise.

Thanks and u e been following along for a long time and with all due respect the crash you and many others have predicted did not happen. I know it will but the shmitah didn’t play out. Spx didn’t hit your lows nor did btc. I know you’re experienced and professional but you’ve scared a lot out of the market including me a while back and hence missed some generational lows.
1. Shemitah 100% played out. Sept 2021 to Sept 2022 was the 7yr cycle. BTC fell 75%, NDX 38% and SPX 28%. How is that equivalent to not playing out? I even shared my BTC short, on CZcams, from 48,2 to 15,5k. That trade allowed me to retire. It sounds like to me, you never understood the cycle, because if you did, you would understand your comment is rather silly.
2. If you have been following me a long time as you say, Oct 23, 2023 I shared my BTC long, again on YT, and BTC went up 120+% since I shared that trade.
3. I trade the markets, I share my market views and some of my trading ideas, if you don't find the videos useful, don't watch.
4. The markets have never put in a low prior to a recession, not once in history, you didn't miss any generational low.
5. Don't post passive aggressive comments on my YT - I can't stand when someone gives me a backhanded compliment about being professional and in the same comment tells me I scared people out of the market. Take some agency in your life, be responsible for your own actions. I never left the market, if you chose to leave, that's on you and has nothing to do with me.
You are right my wording wasn’t great. I respect you and your views. I wasn’t meant to be perceived as being passive aggressive. I never left the market. I did get out at one stage but I’ve been in during the uptrend. I take onus on my decisions and take full responsibility with my actions and decisions. Peace.
