- This is not something that I was expecting, but here we are. Without a doubt I fully believe that this is the best Figma Demon Slayer Action figure release to date. This figure doesn’t suffer from any of the same mistakes as the previous releases and in my opinion fully showcases what max factory has to offer if they put their all into it. I can’t believe how much I actually enjoy this figure. This Figma Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Kyojuro Rengoku Deluxe Edition Action Figure Is one of a kind and I highly recommend adding it to your collection if you haven’t already. I can see this figure becoming highly sought after once people realize how great it is so don’t miss out on the opportunity to get your hands on him for a decent price. I think in every other launch,i like a lot more buzzmod than figma,but in this case,they absolutely killed it! It looks way better than buzzmod's rengoku,still,i would love to see a VS between both so we can exactly look at the differences,also with the akaza figures would be great! (But in that case,i think buzzmod just killed figma in every sense,buzzmod's akaza looks absolutely breathtaking)
i collect the figma line and contemplated getting buzzmod's akaza but his short neck makes him look goofy to me. On the other hand Figma seemed to have really dropped the ball on theirs unfortunately with those god damn pinned joints and barely any accessories.

Yeah this is a must get as soon as I can. Just incredible. Honestly my tanjiro is amazing, I don't have any qc issues, so I'm optimistic. I really hope figma goes all the way with this line
I gotta say the vibrant colors and accessories are really good, and the size definitely surprised. Imo I still like the buzzmod more, i think the faces and hair are more accurate/dynamic looking and I like the proportions more. The buzzmod proportions are more similar to some of the statues I've seen, and I feel like the pants should be that baggy.
The figma on a neutral standing pose just looks kind of off to me Idk what it is haha but it does look great posed up, and that battle damage face is awesome. This is definitely still a great figure for anyone that's a fan either way!
As far as akaza I think buzzmod will take that one hands down. Buzzmod version just looks absolutely perfect and imposing. The figma one looks too skinny and small, but has buzzmod beat in terms in vibrant colors.
The figma shinobu on the hand, oh my, I cannot wait, have mine pre-ordered and it's gonna be beautiful, figma always nails it with anime female characters, the buzzmod shinobu just didn't quite cut it to me.
I just got him today in the mail. can't wait to open it and play around with it.

With how that torso joint looks better was expecting way more range, and of course there's still that giant gap in the knees
Here's the thing, figma knows how to make it more anime accurate but they've never been good with articulation (both function and looks)

this man fr said " KAIYU JUROW " . if you want a simple way to pronounce it, let me help you. " KIO - JURO " so you start off with a K, and I (i) and an O. thats how you pretty much pronounce it, test it with google translate in English if you need to. And if you put it in Japanese Translation my guy you finally got something right.

This looks absolutely amazing… I’m very interested to see how Akaza turns out since he’ll be produced by FREEing instead of Max Factory, which is what we’re used to in the Demon Slayer line.
Kinda bad… almost same price as kyojurou but the quality is way off
its terrible for its price, the box was huge but he only had 2 faces nothin else, his snowflake piece is a thin plastic, and articulation was terrible, hardly looked natural in his compass needle pose, cant be dynamic, my shoulder joint snapped trying to make him throw a punch. I ordered buzzmod just for the posability, figma is just to look pretty unfortunately.

@@nazka412 absolutely, it how i personally pose my figma rengoku and buzzmod akaza, they work well imo. figma akaza was a giant let down in articulation and size. but buzzmod akaza is perfect, aside from his short neck

I don’t know what it is but I still love the oriental manga look of the Buzzmod Figma looks great in hand but I duno if I’m still bias toward Buzzmod 💭

Yeah, I saw some reviews and pics and noticed that this guy was looking real good.
I fear for Akaza, though. From what I've seen, his articulation is subpar, which is.... an incredible feat considering he's barely clothed. And he doesn't come with a lot of accessories either, so he's probably going to be as big a flop as this Rengoku is a win. Insane.
From what I saw, Akaza isn’t made by Max Factory. Still a Figma, but a different manufacturer
You’re both right. It’s made by freeing. They seem to like to make villains or more niche characters. I have the Akaza figma and his upper torso articulation is good but the leg articulation is lacking
This review was great. I agree with you about this figure, it’s phenomenal. I do think the Figma demon slayer line is better than Buzzmod solely because of the aesthetic and the buzzmod figure reuse of the same Buck for everyone.
I love the buzzmod but i think that figma is better in accesories the flamme efffect the interchangeabl head. But the look of the figure... is strange he dont look like rengoku as the buzzmod the face is just like something is missing on the look of the figure.
I think the Buzzmod face sculpt looks more accurate but other than that it looks really good

Whats good Animated heroes! I love your reviews and I just did my review on Rengoku not to long ago. My question is, was this figma suppose to come with a sleeping eyes closed face plate? I was trying to see if your figure had it but it didn't. Why didn't ours have it?
This is the first Figma Demon Slayer that makes the Buzzmod counterpart look bad IMO. The Buzzmod one is still pretty good though.

Figma is inconsistent because they're made by different manufacturers. Akaza is made by Freeing, they're the worst so it won't be as good as Rengoku
Yes Akaza workmanship is kinda bad and the entire effect is underwhelming. It’s quite overpriced for Akaza

Its due to big head syndrome.
The Demon Slayer line has bigg beads to make them smaller, so next to other Figmas they have bigger heads, and kf course when they have a taller character (Rengoku) he will tower over others. Also there is small head syndrome a.k.a the Figma persona line has smaller heads then majority of the other figmas.
So this is why you sold the Buzzmod? Lol 😂

2 questions: 1. you think if you customized the lower legs and swap the sandals, that this could probably work as a Figma equivalent to being able to remove the robes on the Buzzmod Tanjiro and Zenitsu? it'd most definitely be EXPENSIVE AS HELL since you would have to buy 2 more Rengoku's and just getting 1 is already a bullet to the wallet!:< let alone everyone! with the exception Nezuko at the $70-$80 range (of course going off eBay prices and not release prices but even then their not by much!) and 2. have you tried using Tanjiro's Fire Breathing (I think it's referred to as Sun Breathing in the anime, but screw it I'm still calling it Fire Breathing!:
