Jackson Custom Shop Mike Shannon Master Builder 2019 Interview

Let's take a journey back to 2019 post-NAMM, pre-COVID!
After just spending the entirety of NAMM filming non-stop and existing on nothing but coffee and subpar Arby's (although I still kind of miss them?) meals - I found myself at the Fender USA Factory in Corona, California which of course is the same location as the Jackson Custom Shop.
Knowing that I was a huge Jackson fan, the Fender Australia team organised for myself and a few of their team to take a slight detour from the rest of the group for a rendezvous in the Jackson Custom Shop itself.
Not knowing that the opportunity to interview the one and only Mike Shannon would come about, we had to scramble to find whatever mic we could - so you'll have to forgive the unfortunate audio quality and my extreme excitement. But I thought this was a great throwback and some awesome insight from the man responsible for some of the most iconic guitars of all time!

I got a 96 king v built in the Ontario California shop pre fender,cherry red flame top with the greatest neck I've ever played. I wish I could have afforded more of them back then,but I'm lucky to have what I got.
