I’m glad I saw your video. Thanks 🙏
I use a rag and wd40 and tape comes off sweet, nice bike
Thanks.
I just got into motorcycles, and specifically the sissy bar. I'm ordering a couple bars tommorow. What can I expect?
I thought it goes in between the fender and the outside part where the reflector was placed
Awesome vid, I just purchased this sissy bar for my 22' Street Bob. Glad I came across your video. Thx!
Thanks for the video,I looked at the price on sissybars and couldn’t believe it so a found some round bar and flat steel and made one and looks pretty good even powder coated it, I’m glad I tried it
Just got home after buying this bar for my 2020 Slim. Glad I came across your video. Thank you for the clear information on the install. Keep up the good work!
Glad it helped thanks for watching👊👊👊
Excellent video. Very helpful tips.
I bought one on eBay and washers not included, Harley doesn’t have any either, any idea on the actual washer dimensions ie diameter thickness?
I just ordered this sissy bar from the dealership. Can't wait to install it on my street bob
I like that Harley has done away with side plates for mounting on the rear fender.
question for you. does a sporster sissy bar fits on a softail slim?
Thanks for the video, helped me install my sissy bars, very clear instructions
Thanks for watching! Glad it was helpful.
Really considering the same bike when I upgrade. ‘Nother good video! Keep ‘em coming.
Thanks!
Hey Tony don't suppose you know the part number for that particular bar? Great Vids BTW
52300502 18+ softtails
I'm installing this next weekend after it arrives at the store on a 2020 FLDE
The sissy bar goes between the trim piece and the fender. Not in the outside. You install it wrong.
You are a life saver
Glad the video was helpful! Ride safe
Good thing you re-torqued those bolts. I didn’t think it’d be necessary either when you mentioned it but then I thought about it. The self-adhesive washers you installed crushed a little and that little bit of give changed your torque. Good install. You gonna protect the fender paint so a bag doesn’t mar it up? Gonna install a passenger pad or backrest pad? Keep up the great work.
Yeah, great vid. There aren’t many/any videos showing this HD
Sissy on an actual bike (well, for my bike). I have a Slim also. I’ll be getting this. Keep up the good videos.
Thanks glad it helped

You are close. Need to plan a ride this season.
You going to the Midwest meetup?
We will get it done. I am retired so I ride all I can. Retired at 55 and I am 58.
👍
O yes that’s my plan
Looks really good Tony.....
Thanks for watching
just a word of advise do your research on these newer bike on what ya have to go thru to put after market and oem accessory parts on ..it can get expensive...
No side markers? it would be non-DOT compliant. Not that I care so much about what DOT thinks. Great Looking Machine!
Installed according to the Harley instructions. They give you 2 new reflectors to install on the sissy bar supports. I just choose not to use them.
Anthony Muro Can confirm this is the exact correct install from Harley directly according to their instructions packaged with this sissy bar.
Nice Job Tony, Keep the good content coming. GreatEgret was telling us about your channel.
Not to far from you. Live in Southeastern Indiana. I am about 75 miles from Louisville.
Let’s pray for some sunshine.

Thanks, where in Indiana are you?
Hi Tony! Thank you very much for this video first of all, really great work, easy to understand as well! I do have one question: Did you try to desinstall the bar? And if so, is it easy to do and easily reversible? My harley dealer told me it was possible but I prefer to have an user POV on that matter 😂 Thank you for your answer, ride safe
Yeah, it is really just 4 bolts takes about 15 minutes.
Hey Tony. Great channel. Helped inspire me to buy a 2020 in denim black. Mine came with the quick lock harley hardware (nothing else) but I really like this bar better than the quick detach available. Does this kit come with everything you need if I were to remove the quick mount hardware?
Yes sir everything you need. Thanks for watching ride safe!
I thought all the 18s only used the detachable sissy bars? I just ordered the smaller detachable one with the mounting hardware.
This one just showed up on Harleys website as a new item.
Very sexy sissy bar! I'm definitely getting one once I got the Street Bob. I love it without the reflectors.
No reflectors for me! Just needed a reason to take them off. It’s a pretty tall one to also 18 inches.
Hey, I am going to install one of these on my 2020 FXST. Would you mind telling me what you’re covering the rear fender with? Fender bib? Pillion seat? Nothing?
I really don’t want to mount any kind of seat and wondered what you did.
Thanks
I used absolutely nothing. I am now running a saddlemen set up seat which covers most of the rear fender.
I take it the new screws are longer?
Ordered mine Sat when I bought a new ride.... 18 Fatbob....yay me lol Ride hard or stay home😎
Congrats!!! 🍾. Great bike!
Any accessories for this bar that can be added like back rest and luggage rack?
Hey Jeff there is a back rest for sure not a 100 percent on the luggage rack. Thanks for watching stay safe out there!
Did the screw retainers on the other side fall when you took out the screws??
Sure did.
Do you know if it will be possible to add a backrest to this ? It looks great, but I hope it is possible.
Yes, you can see it comes with the bracket just not the backrest itself.
2 months have passed, how do you like the sissy bar?
I love it. Very handy indeed
ok sooo did ya have to relocate the side mounted license plate holder or did it not come with one .?
Came that way
What sissy bar is that? I'm going to order it for mine. Looks amazing
It’s made by Harley Davidson
What's the part number ??
How do you install with wide washers?
i though it installed underneath the side plates ?
Not according to the instructions. You might be able to do it that way if you wanted. Ride safe Mark!
where can I buy this bar ?
It a Harley branded part so any local dealer on H-D online.
@@TonysGarage how much was it ?
Thinking it was around the 200 dollar mark give or take.
Did your bike come with Dunlop tires?
Yes sir
Do you regret the change in a bike because of the lack of aftermarket parts? With what you did with your last bike I would have loved to see what you could do with a Low Rider S, or another Dyna. Love your videos and really dig the room you film in with the skateboard decks on the wall behind you!
In a couple months there will be a lot more aftermarket options. It's actually quite exciting to wait for them.
Thanks, aftermarket is on the way just takes a little time with all the changes Harley made.
This is a harley brand sissy bar, but not for older models!! Only for 2018 and newer!! Beware. I was about to purchase this for my 2016 slim s!! Glad I didnt!
What does it torque at?
Sorry, I’m afraid I don’t remember. It is in the instructions and I believe I stated in the video as well.
8:27
What is the height?
I’m thinking it’s 16 inches
The camera shots after installs are bad. You need to have a wider view and full side view too
