    There are lot of ESP32-WROOM models to pick from.. will any of them work with the patreon firmware? ex. I am seeing ESP32-WROOM-32-N4

    The ESP .bin file is missing from the attachments ZIP file.. is this posted somewhere that we can download?

      Yes, it’s on Patreon. If you search for Maxelectronics.

      @@MaxELECTRONICS Thanks! looking forward to it.. do you also happen to have Pick-and-Place file for automated assembly instead of using stencil?

      @MaxELECTRONICS  Před 7 měsíci

      @carlos33193 unfortunately no, it’s to stop mass manufacturing.

    Hi, is there other place I could get the esp bin file? I couldn't get it from Patreon
    Thank you in advance

      Hi, you can only get it on Patreon, could you tell me your username and I will check why you can’t get access to the file.

      Max, I'm trying to replay with my email, that is the user in Patreon but CZcams for some reason, doesn't let me do that

      @JoaquinPerez-li9ep what is your name on Patreon, not user name , I’ve checked, all the files are there

    I built this board, but having 2 problems.. 1) the esp only seems to boot up when using external programmer RST button. Then blue light comes on, otherwise without external RST no blue light. 2) no output to OLED display. any advice?

    • @carlos33193
      @carlos33193 Před 6 měsíci +1

      also light never changes state from blue. I am using ESP32-WROOM-32

    • @MaxELECTRONICS
      @MaxELECTRONICS  Před 6 měsíci

      Could it be faulty esp32? I’ve tried on few different models and didn’t have any problems with esp 32. What programmer are you using?

    • @carlos33193

      @CTRONICS Looks like the schematic is wrong for R13 an R14. the values are listed as 15k and 2.2k, but per the datasheet of the MT3608 this would be ~4.7v output and this is what i am seeing. Vout = vRef * (1+ (r1/r2)). = 0.6 * 1 + (15k/2.2k) = 4.69.. we need 6v out so I think better values would be 15k and 1.6k ohm resistors.
      Also the reset RC circuit between EN and IO0 seems to be incorrect. Both EN and IO0 should be pulled high?
      Can you confirm?

      @MaxELECTRONICS  Před 6 měsíci

      @carlos33193 the resistors r13,r14 are correct. But the R5 is actually connected to 3.3v in blueprints. Not ground. It’s just a schematic error, I can confirm that in gerber files R5 connected between GPIO0 and 3.3v

      @carlos33193 both EN and GPIO0 pulled high
