    Great video Minty
Loved the movie. I read once years ago that there was an idea for a sequel that now Earth would attack Mars using the martian stolen tecnolgy and the last aliens captured were in zoos, would escape to tell their homeworld.
If course as It was a box office failure, It was imposible for any sequel
Thinking a bit, a little like Starship Troopers...

CLASSIC! The perfect Nicholson move from the master. I'd always believed the cast was having akak. Loved the film on first blush.

Also, the filming of the desert attack scenes was taken near the city of Kingman Arizona, out on a dry lake bed. I lived there at the time and MULTIPLE people had to be treated for both really bad sunburns and heatstroke. I know exactly where the site is and it looks the same today as it did on the day of filming.

Love the movie. I remember the trading cards when I was a kid. Never liked the one showing the dog being disintegrated.
Just after the movie was released, there was an interview with a reporter who had visited the film set during production. He asked a worker, "Is this a comedy?" The reply was, "Well...it's a Tim Burton movie."

I loved ' Mars Attacks ' the style of the fifties , a few ideas from comics , making the stars ridiculous and absolutely hilarious . Interesting to hear about the cards .

I had the set of Mars Attacks cards as a kid and both loved them and was horrified by them. The significance of the burning cows comes from card number 22 in the original set entitled "Burning Cattle" that depicts that scene. Great memories, great film.

Thanks for this fun trip down memory lane. We got free passes to see it and loved it so much that I later bought a DVD copy. It's like Dr. Strangelove on LSD. And with Tom Jones.

MINTY! your video broke 30k views in less than 24 hrs....your doing better than the Dr.Who channels even the main one. None of their videos I think broke 30k since yesterday. Your more popular than Dr. WHO ENJOY IT. Hope this lifts your spirits!

It's a hilarious, fantastic film. We all loved it. "We come in peace" 😂😂 Glenn Close spitting out her coffee when the aliens attack the second time is comedy gold.
