O'Brien says the Israelis gave up "annexing settlements in the West Bank". I have no idea what he means by "annexing". Israel continues to build settlements in the West Bank, and have allowed the return of Israelis to four settlements that were abandoned in 2005. The Abraham Accords were nothing, and still are nothing. A group of countries run by dictators suppported by the USA signed something their overlords asked them to. Whoopee! Both Bahrain and UAE have USA military bases. The USA's greatest worry is that democracy will break out in those countries. That would upset the whole USA program for the Middle East.
I know that this has nothing to do with the subject being discussed, but why does this man sound so weird? He's like a california girl but male, as if he had choked on his own spit and kept trying to speak fast and unintelligibly before a crazy cough breaks out. It's kinda hard to focus in this situation.
