Rare overnight metro ride on the Montréal Métro during Nuit Blanche 2023! + service disruption 🚇

Here is a rare metro overnight ride on the Montréal Métro that took place during the Nuit Blanche / White Night festival in Montreal, Canada.
This is the one night of the year in addition to New Year's Eve where the Montreal Metro system is open all night long.
This is the first time since 2019 that the metro was open all night long as even this past New Year's Eve it was not open all night.
In this video, I ride on the Orange Line 🟠 from Sauvé metro station to Jean-Talon metro station aboard AZUR Set 28. Once at Jean-Talon, I go to the Blue Line 🔵 in the Snowdon direction. Once I arrive on the platform, I then walk into a service disruption on the Blue Line caused by a tunnel intrusion down the line. After a somewhat long delay, I take the metro ride on an MR-73 train to Snowdon metro station.
Once at Snowdon metro station, I once again switch to the Orange Line in the Côte-Vertu direction and board on AZUR Set 27 where I take the train to that very station at the end of the line.
Once at Côte-Vertu metro station, I meet up with a few fellow CZcamsrs and conclude the night.
This video was filmed in the overnight hours of Sunday, February 26, 2023 beginning at 2:01 AM Eastern Time.

Is there cell service underground? Visiting montreal next month from NY and 10 min headways overnight is phenomenal compared to the 20 min overnight headways here

Yes! All stations are supposed to have cellular service and most do. However, in the last few years there have been some dead patches of service but nothing major. Yeah the only problem for us is our metro is not open 24 hours a day. Service usually ends around 1:00 am or so and later on Saturday into Sunday.

Why do they still use MR-73? why not all azur?

I don't think there are enough AZUR trains for the entire metro service. Plus the MR-73 still has a good 10 years of life left or so I believe

Because at St-Michel they was'nt finish the station so he has no choice to put up barriers at all stations
