What a big difference from the Goldfinger filming days when they only had two Aston Martin DB5's for the stunt work and they had to buy them from Aston Martin, now Aston can't give them enough for filming. Still love the DB5 a real classic a beautiful car. Always wanted to own one ever since I first watched Goldfinger in the 60's when I was a kid, now I'm in my 60's and I still want to have one, I only have the Corgi toy car a great classic toy though, so that will have to do for now unless they can give me a DB5 now they have finished filming the new Bond movie, it looks like they have plenty to spare and it would have a good home! 😁
Lone Ranger according to Daniel Craig, who told Prince Charles that it’s not a DB5 but rather a shell of one, on top of a BMW chassis and engine. With DB5s going for half a million pounds each now, I doubt the producers would buy real ones to thrash them anyway
Ah! Yes you're correct I did see that on the news myself. I was sort of pointing out the fact how times have changed and the use of lots of extra cars is not a problem anymore. It's still great to see that NO CGI is used in a Bond film when it's car stunts, unlike some action films. I wonder if the stunt driver in the rig driving on the roof of one of the DB5's was Ben Collins (AKA The Stig when TOP GEAR was at its best!! ) He flipped the Aston in Casino Royale which is in the Guinness book of records for the amount of rolls a car has done in a film, also he was driving the rig on top of the Land Rover Defender in Skyfall. Anyway I would even like to own one of the BMW copies of the DB5, more chance of having one now the fact they are a copy and cheaper. So Aston Martin if you don't need them anymore now that filming has wrapped I'll take one please and I will look after it and not sell it on eBay I promise. 😁👍
Shooting movie action scenes with cars always involves a few extra cars... Here one original and 8 replica Aston Martin cars, the latter to be sacrified in action scenes...
Yes they are. Aston Martin producerad eight replicas for the stunt driving while EON already owns two vintage 1964 cars which was used for normal driving scenes. So 10 cars in all on location in Matera
Don't know why he wants to walk away? They spend millions of dollars to make him look good! He makes great money, guys want to be him, women want to blow him. I'd ride that gig for as long as I could.
Was this filmed on a Nokia 6230 with a greasy lens?
Thank you, Thank You, 🙏🏻

Beautiful cars . Style all there own.
Only lucky Agent 007 needs to have 7 identical cars to get from Point A to Point B .... those less lucky 001 Agents have to do with just one.
Nice cars. I want one 🥺🥺
They sound cool.
So many db5 ! Can I have one please

Imagine the horror if they by mistake trash the real authentic DB5, instead of one of the replicas...
A line up
All of this cars they are original.....the Aston Martin.
No, they are not. Only one was the real deal. The rest were replicas made of carbon body and had BMW engines
They sound decent though.
Thanks for Answering.
Are those astons replicas ?

@@springhousecreative thanks for that info !! DB 5 my dream car felt sick when I saw the Italian job in the cinema when I was 14 - wrecked one 😱
What ????
2020 Bond is still using a 1960s car instead of EV. lol
