I just love how Caden incorporates so much Scripture into the point he is trying to get across! I also like how every single one of you validates your feelings. So many times, men in particular, are taught that having/showing emotions are bad; to the point where if a person shows emotion they are immediately put down and told that they are less than just because they are human and have emotions. It's so much worse in the long run if you ignore your feelings and just keep them pent up inside of you. Thank you guys stay patient and "keep running the race that is set before you"!

Loving Jesus and dealing with chemical imbalances are such a hard thing especially when you’re in ministry. People think you should have this perfect life and doubt you when they see you struggle. I’m striving to be the best me as I lead other women to Christ and my two children. Seeing this and knowing that I’m not in this alone gives me so much hope. It’s like Jesus used this to reconfirm to me that I’m in his will, chemical imbalances are real and it’s going to be okay….Y’all have given me a peaceful hope.

Talking about anxiety, nick saying that everyone is anxious is 100% true, when someone has anxiety the anxious feeling and nervousness is dialed to a 10.

Hey guys, I started out writing a comment but it turned into a novel. I just want to say thanks for your sharing, talking, discussing but yes at the end of the day we need to focus our eyes and heart on Jesus. I can't wait to listen to your back catalogue of postings, new subscriber from New Zealand xxx

Most of Caden's scripture is in the book of Proverbs , Which is interesting because it's one of the books of wisdom. Love the talks .

I have a BA in Psychology and I just wanna first say that I love you guys and what you're doing but please educate yourself on mental health before you talk about it. Anxiety is a real thing and y'all made it sound like it was a mental weakness. It's less about how you handle it and more about why you're feeling that way. Yes, it's normal for bull riders to feel anxious before doing something that could kill them. That also involves adrenaline and they choose to fight the anxiety in order to ride bulls. People that suffer from anxiety disorders feel anxious for no reason at all. Having anxiety or the beginnings of a panic attack while eating lunch is not normal and that means your body is creating adrenaline for something that doesn't require a fight or flight response. Anxiety disorders are when the frontal lobe fires for no real reason at all. Yes, there are coping mechanisms besides medications but no, you can't just decide to slap your legs and get over it. Again, I love y'all but I am afraid with your influence, people who may be dealing with this very common issue may downplay their symptoms because of this podcast or even the stigma that already accompanies mental health issues.

THANK YOU. I really love these guys and their content. As someone who has been DIAGNOSED with anxiety the first part of this really had my jaw on the floor. It IS a real thing. Personally, I struggle every single day. It's not just something you can brush off, and to hear Nick say "if there is something wrong with you" really made the stigma way more real. I'm not sure if what he was trying to convey came out correctly but PLEASE educate yourselves before speaking about something like this with the platform that you have.

I adore y’all, but please leave mental health to the professionals. I doubt that you would tell someone they don’t have diabetes or that diabetes isn’t real; mental health issues are just as real. And for someone who has ADHD and has taken meds, you should know this. Shame on you- from a mental health nurse with over 20 years of experience.
