@@Kyle-kh2sf i dont think so, as it looks, it uses some sort of rollback to dupe the items, but this means that in worlds that's not hosted directly on your device, it wouldn't rollback, what means that on realms it shouldn't work, I'll test it on a test world and, if it works, I'll test on my realms to make sure

Thanks dude! It worked for me. But what you need is exact timing. I tried it half an hour and 4 times it worked.. its not guarantee that you get the dupe in every time. One time my Inventory and the barrel chest was gone completely! Make sure you COPY your world everytime the dupe worked.

Xbox and pc and mobile how to force close: on Xbox click the Xbox button on your controller go down until you see Minecraft click the “=“ button and choose quit pc: alt+f4 or open task manager then click Minecraft then click quit task (or something similar) mobile: swipe up then swipe minecraft away ( this is the way on iOS/ipados but I’m not sure about Android I think it’s similar) that’s it tell me if I got anything wrong

Works on PS4, done as the youtube said. Only thing i noticed is dont hold the PS button too close (via quick menu) press the ps button, options on minecraft, X the close application 🤝🏽

I've tried different methods of this same duplication glitch and every single time it just deletes my items and resets my position, what am I doing wrong?

Few tips for PS4 that I'm gunna assume are universal
1. Always wait for an auto save before you do it
2. After you place the items in the chest and break the blocks if you don't see an auto save in roughly 5 seconds retry it before leaving .it can delete items.
3. Just don't do this to ruin worlds have fun but don't get 40 million stacks of dragon eggs
4. Don't touch the blocks if something gets in your inventory it deletes like half the items
Does your inventory need to be full of items?
Edit: I found if your struggling to get this to work try changing from a barrel to a chest and do 10 blocks instead of 9
You can dupe only one item if you want

Works with regular chest. Dont need blocks. Wait for autosave, put down chest and dupe items in it. Exit game without save. Reenter and hopefully you hvae duped items. Warning! Can occasionally cause item loss. Be sure to do copy of world before dupe bug

Bro i did a similar dupe accidentally, i was playing with my friend, i placed an ender chest and took out a shulker and placed it right after that my friends game crashed causing me to get kicked too, when i joined back the shulker duplicated

I can confirm this works with having a larger world meaning loner load and save times I had to use a counting method. I put in chest then beark one block count to 5 then force close. Didn't work then did it again counting to 6 then 7 I got all the way to put in chest break block count to 26 then force close and it works every time. That's the sweet spot for my save to save enough for the chest to save my items but not long enought for my inventory to update. A half save if you will. Just do this and keep repeating counting one more before force closing game by pressing Xbox button highlight Minecraft press start and exit on the app not in game and it will work. One gigabyte save took a count of 26 seconds or 26 breaking blocks. It all depends on your save file. New small words might only need to put in chest break one block count to two then force close while others much larger might need to count to 30 or 40. Just make sure you count at the same speed each time. I counted to 26 in about 11 seconds because that's the speed I count without pausing as pausing can pause at different lengths of time each pause. Hope this helps guys. It does work every time once worked out timings

Having trouble doing the glitch on ps4, I spawn back with all items in my inventory and the 8 blocks broken but still placed and nothing in the barrel

you can duplicate all items in shulker boxes too, shulke boxes completely filled in all spots is insane

I tried a couple times and the blocks are there and the items are in my inventory but nothing is in the barrel. Did this also happen to you? And what could I do to fix it?
A glitch kind of like this has been out for a few years and all you had to do was put your items in a chest you placed down and dig ten blocks to the right and then break the chest and force quit and your items would dupe but most of the time it corrupts the items and deletes them so I was looking for a better way.
making a copy will always save you unwanted hassle
IT WORKED! IT REALLY WORKED! I had to place the blocks I wanted to dupe next to the barrel and it only worked for 3, but they DUPLICATED! Thank you!

If it isn't working on PS4 try 7 cobblestone. Then go to home screen click back on game go to homescreen again. Open option to close it twice before actually closing. I get it to work 90% of the time. Always make a backup

i found a trident dupe glitch it works with anything if you use riptide and switch over to the next block in your hotbar it turns into a riptide trident

It keeps on failing after working once it stopped i even tried an efficiency 5 neth pick is it better for the pick to be slower or faster?

For Nintendo switch do you close the application your on and go to a Different game or do you just hop back on cuz on switch it doesn’t bring you back to the menu for Minecraft it brings you to your world if you just exit
Well for the first part you have to exit the world anyway, and then for the second part of the glitch you have to close the application

I found a glitch trying to do a glitch
so it’s a block glitch you put 9 blocks down of any kind put a chest down save and quit go back on the world break the block including the chest and force quit your game and the block should be dropped on the ground and still placed
This would work for realms if you own it. Got curious and wondered if there was still one that worked
I tried one on ps4 years ago where you only needed like 4-5 blocks of dirt.
Sorry also thought it would be obvious by what meant. You would just need to do this in a world then upload it to realms I guess but other than that it wouldn't work on a server.
I got it to work but then it stopped working when i switched from diamond to gold to mine the blocks. And wasnt consistent before hand anyways. Any tips?

It doesn't work on switch, i have tried different blocks breaking them faster, using chests doing it in different dimensions, making my game lag picking up the blocks and nothing worked

It worked once for me but ever since all it does is delete both my blocks and doesn't give me any new ones completely deleting all my items
Also make a duplicate world as a backup incase something goes wrong and make another duplicate world so u can do the glitch again cuz it only works once per world

Hey dude, I was stupid and didn’t save the fist time I tried it and lost a bunch of stuff and haven’t been able to successfully do the dupe. I’m on MCPE and have been using the right # of blocks. Saving and quitting when supposed to and I just don’t know what I’m doing doing would be great to get some help

It really worked on my PC but there is a BUT. This was taking a bit of time to get it working. The success rate was so RNG, I had to redo many times, approximately worked once in every 2~15 tries. Yea, I did exactly what is in the video. My timing was around 6-8 seconds when destroying those stones. My set up was a chest and 8 cobblestones. I must walk a bit when destroying, approximately 1s every stone and the last stone I wait a second before a forced shut down (alt + f4). AGAIN, a reminder that this was so RNG based.
Tips: If you're on PC, disable Internet connection for a faster Minecraft load. Pin Minecraft in the taskbar for faster access.
WARNING! There is a chance of DELETING the item that you're trying to dupe (e.g. if you have a diamond and a pick, if you transfer the diamond it will disappear, but the pick won't) but only like once or twice in my experience, a very low chance I would say but it is still a risk if you don't do any backup. Note: This happened when I try to delay the timing for force shutdown long enough, you have to be quick but not too quick. Also, a higher chance of this happening when I was connected to the Internet, or maybe it's just me.

Ok works so good flawless! I am playing mcpe on Amazon tablet. If playing on phone or tablet still exit world as normal after you build it but after you put items in chest just swipe to all of your tabs and close the Minecraft tab then go back to Minecraft! I did this with two chains facing up on top of chest instead of cobblestone

I actually discovered this a few years ago it was putting me in a weird state one time I duped a Dimond pick with efficiency 2 because my device died one other time I broke an iron pick then a creeper exploded my game died and when I opened the world the creeper was gone the hole wasn't there my pickaxe was back but the blocks were still broken but thanks for telling me hoe to remake it

Ive been doing this for like 6+ months. Maybe closer to a year. But MAN the last couple days I just cant get it to work. MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS IN A COPY WORLD!!! One time you WILL regret it if you dont!! I did. Every once in a while it will completely delete your items.

I tried it in PS5 and when i closed the game, my controls were inverted and didnt got duped, thank god u said make backup.
Edit: I made it again and worked, the problem was i grabbed the blocks.
I have done this glitch 10 times on xbox one x and 10 times it failed with that information. However I did some vamping. Not far off. In order on xbox one x I had to use 10 blocks across instead of 9 for it to work. 9 never worked. 10 blocks worked everytine.
