Always loved this band and this song. And yes they are from Scotland. R.I.P. Stuart Adamson. Terry should love this one! Thanks Sassy for reacting to this one. Love Ya!!!
There are no bagpipes in the song. The bagpipe sound is actually a guitar
I did not realise that.
Thanks I didn’t know that 😊
Correct, it does have that sound but as a huge fan for a while you are 100% correct. That sound is incredible and all guitar!
Do they have more songs…. Yes
Are they still around….. Yes
I saw them in San Francisco in 2020 and they were fantastic!!
@@SassyOcampo the lead singer took his owe life a few years ago
Thank you for reacting to this song. Loved it in 1983, love it still. 💙💙💙
I remember this song very well, great band from Scotland 🏴, Where I'm from, Look Away is another great song by them 😂😂
83 and still sounds amazing today.... They were ahead of their time.
Your soul will sing in unison!
A few days ago Diana Ankudinova released an amazing , very beautiful new song - The Day You...
New vocal level!
This is definately a unique combination, rock music and bagpipes, greart sound!.John Guinto
No bagpipes in it. It was the sound of their guitars
Do they have more songs… Yes
Are they still around….. Yes
I saw them in San Francisco in 2020 and they were fantastic!!
If this song doesn't make you groove your groove may be broken.
Just a Celtic sound that Big Country had. Their own , no bagpipes just guitars sounding like traditional instruments
The song actually came out in 83! The sound was advanced for the time IMO! Great band.
as I recall they got that 'bagpipe' sound from some device called an 'e-bow'. It seems like some bands are just too special and different to last a long time, and Big Country and Boston were 2 such bands to me. And if you want to see AND hear a really unique artist who was only here briefly, try Jobriath.
Very 80s Punky and well..Like very outlander Theme or Old Irish Country
There are no bagpipes. Those are guitar sounds.
Wow guitar ! Thanks 😊
