my soul is tired from watching just the first two minutes of it, I can't imagine the determination it took to actually get this kill
It's not a question of 'can you kill it' but much more one of 'do you really want to kill it' >.>
When I was trying to kill this boss I found out that his novas seem to stack overtime. At first I had a shield that could take the novas easily but then it started getting one shot (Also it was flinging me across the entire arena). It also has a habit of flying upwards and disappearing, robbing you of a chance to kill it. This boss is just a massive feature.
Bethesda: Finally a worthy opponent!
Its a pretty rough estimate because of grog, locked and loaded, ending gunzerk etc. but I calculated that a 10.4 fire rate infinity, X 2.44 fire rate for sheriff's badge and keep firing, X 60 X 66 for 1h 6m fight. Comes out at almost exactly 100,000 bullets. So Voracidous was probably stuck in the corner because as the challenge says, he was literally knee deep in brass :)

literally had that shit happen one time on maya or something when I went under the map with someone and we were shamfleeting him do death. We got about that far before he crashed my game with novas. Stupid boss kills you, your PC, and is actually invincible. Now I just use damage swapping against him on axton and maybe salvador if I ever played him anymore.

If they ever do a remaster, they'll probably break the scaling even more, and have damage/health numbers integer overflow into the negative.

I ended up beating hemovorous first try, I used Zane going into his hit man and doubled agent tree, with the clone and drone and all the kill effects being active it was basically dodge shoot to heal and outlast him, luckily several of his attacks are enemies you can shoot to revive, it went well
Hemivorous isn't as hard as Voracidous

I never wanted to do this fight when it was just OP8 and he didn't have double health. So seeing this made me not want to do it more.

I spent like 2 hours trying to do this with melee zer0. On OP8, it was rough. On OP10, it was almost impossible.
We don't need a remaster. We need them to fix what we paid for. Games unplayable as melee build characters and most of the endgame content "requires" glitches and grog noz/ruby ontop of playing through tthe entire game/dlcs for multiples of certain weapons. Tl;dr games REALLY anoying outside of the first few playthroughs.

thats why balancing wise pre sequel is much better. no enemy hp regen, no slag, which means you get 4 weapons slots instead of 3 slots + slagga/grog, and no fuckin OP levels. too bad you cant do shit because of zero endgame

Honestly, one of the reasons I personally wouldn't like to see a bl2 remaster is because I think some of the bugs and glitches give this game character. It's like part of what makes Borderlands Borderlands is it's unintentional quirks.
It’s not like a remaster would replace the game. If you still want those bugs and quirks after playing the remastered version you can always just hop back on BL2.
I agree but they need to fix op 10. I'm fine with pretty much every other bug besides double hp for raid bosses or ammo costs.

Doesn't really work for this game. It barely sorta kinda works for Bethesda games, and only for the ones that don't screw with gameplay or straight up fucking crash it. And most of the time, they're still modded out anyway.

1:20 - You mention a BL2 remaster. I cannot explain my excitement at the idea of a BL2 remake using the BL3 engine. The engine is almost flawless (aside from the horrible optimization, but that seems to have been largely fixed with DX12 and really has nothing to do with unreal itself), and is BEAUTIFUL.

Joltz, it's my birthday and I just wanna say thank you, your videos and all your "Aaaaaaands" and "The skip dude!"s helped me go through a lot, it's a pretty stressful time but seeing your BL2 content always cheers me up
You see, this is one of my biggest problems with the game. Even a "glitchless" kill relies on an unintended mechanic of the healing working on both guns during gunzerking. And this is common - read only farming, backing up save files etc. are just crucial to the gameplay, but not really intended or implemented in the game itself. I feel like as good as it is, it's way too reliant on these semi - exploits (which are not actively fought against by the developer, but my point still stands), and to me it's just a sign of poorly crafted progression and balancing. These problems, and bugs like double hp Vora, are ones that 2K doesn't even care about fixing anymore, since they're too occupied with milking BL3 players with substandard DLCs.

Borderlands 2 remaster would be awesome. I would love that. All the dlcs included. Maybe 15 new items, a couple headhunters, and a new big dlc and it would make it a perfect game.

I had just beaten the hammerlock dlc for the first time a few weeks ago, I saw the Seraph quest, heard "stalker the size of a building" said fuck that, and never even continued the quest. Didn't even know the boss I just knew it was shit
I kind of thought when they announced a new DLC it would be a whole real quest of Claptrap's secret stash. How fun what that be for a remaster though?

Cuz bandit weapons arent super common, but are also not really the best, and they unintentionally sap your ammo like a vacuum, it’d be interesting to say the least

Imagine if Gearbox does remaster bl2, but they add anointments and buff The Bee by 200%.
This is like the bonemass fight in Valheim. The only weapon at that point of the game that works against it is the iron mace, and its just dodge the 1 of 3 attacks then hit him once, hopefully twice. The fight took me 40 minutes first attempt and that was after he soft locked like this when he had 60% hp. You don't even feel bad, its just such a poorly balanced fight to begin with, with so little of the games playstyle variation having any chance to shine through during the fight.
I assume you were solo? It definitely sucked when I did it with my friend, he has a buttload of HP and resistances to like everything for no reason

I've poked through the code of the Lilith dlc.. so many typos, unused items and code and junk. It was *clearly* rushed and no thought was given to the OP level boost, resulting this.

Why a Bee shield? Not critiquing but a genuine question, wouldn't a flame of the firehawk have a higher uptime since you've basically got a permantly broken shield almost anyway?

Extra damage when the Bee is up and FotF can't have an Alkaline resistance where the Bee can
@@iDaVirus problem with that is the bee is rarely ever up. Voracidous has anti bee novas, you can see it at 4:18. the bee recharges, then it gets hit for a very tiny amount, just to make it inactive.
also i think the alkaline part isnt that important, especially considering this strat involves gunzerking an infinity and a grog nozzle, so health shouldn't be an issue

Some of the raid bosses are why I gave up on BL2. Every once in awhile I'll watch a K6 or Joltz playthrough and get hit with nostalgia and want to play BL2 again but every time I get to level 72 I remember how much of a pain in the ass OP levels are and trying to beat all the raids at OP10. I would love a remastered that actually rebalances the game and add QOL changes like the BL1 remaster did.

Recently discovered you can jump back into the arena with the new gaige speed glitch, depending on how it's done you can break the boss completely, or just drop into the hole and be under him like old times

This boss was the reason I stopped playing for 1 month lmao and when I came back to play I had to join random people and ask them to help me. Luckily an overpowered, modded out Salvador decided to join and made a quick 30 seconds out of the boss

Axton has the fastest kill time or vora. With the right setup it's actually easy.
