The best time to come to Ethiopia is during Christmas because there are a lot of celebrations during that season like Meskel (Amharic for the cross✝), Gena (Amharic for Christmas) and Timket (Amharic for Epiphany); that is from the end of September to the mid of January. You're going to have the time of your lives. And also if you want to experience the whole fasting and praying (Subaye) before and after Easter, come during the beginning of the "Semone Himamat" which is the week before Easter; and the date varries every year so do your research first. And that is because we have our own system of calendar. There are a lot of ceremonies in our country 🇪🇹. All love Swahili❤.

Like when they move it from left to right, it shows how,on his way to the cusifiction while carrying the cross , the torment he take for us from the roman solders while they push and hit him from left to right while bleeding ,when they put the staff down on the ground,it repesent christ falling on the ground while they hit him push him u know ,i hope u get the idea. Everything they hold represent christ and his suffering

By the way, the book of Enoch was written in this language and translated in different languages Now, this Geeze language is spoken only in church we use it for worship worship.. because it's original language
