The company may charge a slightly higher amount as 'Notice Pay Recovery' from those who leave the job without giving a proper notice because the Authority of Advance Ruling (AAR) on Goods and Services Tax (GST) has ruled that any recovery made by the employer will be treated as 'supply of services' and will attract GST. Not only salary, but also the premium of group insurance provided by the company, phone or other facilities will also come under the purview of pay recovery. Watch the video to know more.

If an employee's doesn't serve notice period then how much salary he has to pay?. My salary comprises Basic salary-23k, personal pay- 11k,
HRA- 11k, night shift allowance-2400 and xray certification allowance-6k. Do i have to pay whole salary or i have to pay only basic salary and HRA.
Kindly tell me with reference.

I my offer letter 30 days notice period is required while anyone on resign but after mutual discussion with manager he allow me to not serve notice period and he acknowledge on my resign -OK now the HR deducted 60% amount from my salary and said you didn't serve notice period what to do in this case
Same in my case I also do the same in my medical conditions but after 1.5 months they asked me for notice period payment
If i am not paid they take legal action on me

Mere sath to aisa hua ki management ne khud muje bola ki ap 1 month tak bhi serve kr skte hai jabki mera 2 month ka notice period tha or mein 1 month ke liye comfortable ho gya or unhone mera notice period reduce krke from 2 months to 1 month but muje recovery ka nahi pata tha or inhone bola aaj hi mail kiya haj ki aisa kuch hoga to nahi koi please solution bataye ki mujhse bhi hoga kya recovery and me to 2 month ka serve krne ko ready hun but inhone kuch nahi bola recovery ke bare mein
Maine 6 se 13 yaani 7 days work kiya n us time employee code nhi aaya tha they generated after my resignation in writing however i accepted the appointment letter before also....but on mail they sent me that your no dues clearance has been processed then why after 10 days they sent recovery mail and also hardly 10 k amount was there for 10 days salary and i didn't marked the attendence also so what to do in this.....i have neen employed in another company and nearly one month has passed so is there any issues if i do not pay the recovery amount and can my present employer can know as i have not mentioned it on my mail....pls guide anyone urgent
