NEW 6.0.0 VERSION OF THE GAME IS NOW OUT
The only change is to download the new 6.0.0 files instead of the 5.9.0 in the video (they even added a part 1, 2, 3, 4 to the file names), everything else is the same.
Clarity for NEW 6.0 patch, New Things to Download (everything else is the same as in the video):
1. Download new Part 1,2,3,4, Configure, Mod Manager
2. Put them all in the same mod folder like we did in the video
3. Run the new installer, let it do all the work. (It updated my Mod Manager but I didn't have to change my shortcut?).
4. Unzip new part 4 into main Soulstorm folder, run the application
5. Unzip new Campaign configure into main Soulstorm folder, open folder, make shortcut of application.
6. Play and have fun!

The legion of the damned are basically space marine revenants formed from the warp that usually serve as a deus ex machina to imperial forces. They've been a thing since 1st edition but chronologically their first appearance is in the novel master of mankind where the emperor summons fallen avatars of warriors to fight alongside him in the webway.
bruh what?! the fact that its a dues ex machina kinda losses the appeal of it but that's still really cool. I'm on the Outcast Dead right now in terms of the books. Its really good.
@@Volky_Volk They don’t appear in many other stories and they’re not invincible either so they’re not as abused as let’s say “last second chaos teleportation”. Also the outcast dead is a pretty good book!

yeah I'm really enjoying Outcast Dead. At first I was like Astropaths? This book is about Astropaths? Where are the Legio...oh there they are.
house glaw are similar to imperial guard but they worship slanesh, i think they were featured in the inquisitor game im really not sure tbh.
did you ever play that game was it any good? and that lore sounds interesting!
i got it to get to the main menu once after doing a clean install of SS and reinstalling all the mod files WITH the archives in the game folder, then I opened the graphics tester to change the resolution and I was back at square one crashing after the loading screen.

@@Volky_Volk I've looked for my issue but all the troubleshooting seems to be crashing during the gameplay, no worries I don't want to play that bad.
Hey guys an updated patch has come out (6.0.1) it mainly has bug mixes for semi mods you can add on to the mod itself (crazy). Download the 6.0.1 patch installer, run it and point to the soulstorm folder. You actually do not need anything aside from Soulstorm since my friend had everything when he donwloaded the puiretd version of soulstorm from steamunlocked
Hello , maybe you can help me, I noticed that the face of Firaeveus Carron from the Black Legion is wrong, does anyone know how to put his original face? Her face is that of a normal human, not a chaos lord, it's a shame. Leaving that aside the mod is incredible, thanks for your contribution.

So you just download the updated files (they even labeled them on the site part 1,2,3,4) and place them in the same mod download folder then just run the installer, it should do everything for you. Super easy! Download the music folder too and just drop it in the Soulstorm main folder, then run its application. I didnt have to change my Mod Manger Shortcut but I did have to change my campaign configure shortcut and download that from the site as well and place the folder it came with in the main Soulstorm folder; then make a shortcut from its application.
