  • In this video I discuss the process of getting top surgery as a non-binary person in the UK privately. I went with Miles Berry from London Welbeck Hospital (Cosmetic Surgery Partners) I had my consultation in December 2019 and top surgery in March 2020. Followed by another consulation in March 2021 and revision surgery in August 2021.
I mention costs and timeframes within the video!

Heya, I just found your channel as a baby enby in the UK. I was just wondering if you know if the pricing structure is different based on the starting size or if that's not really a factor? Congrats on getting it done and I'm so glad to see how much happier it seems to have made you!

Pricing doesn’t work on size shape or weight it’s purely down to the process your surgeon uses and all the other factors like hospital fees etc, I hope you get what you’re looking for though xx atm in the UK its all got a lot more expensive

1:37-1:58 Sounds very creepy indeed. You may've been played, bubba: you could be an internet star and you don't even know it yet!
The message is clear; if you want to undergo an elective double mastectomy for purely psychological reasons and you don't want to wait for several years for even an appointment with the NHS, it's best to be earning enough to pay for it or to have relatives or friends willing to stump up the cash. It certainly doesn't help to be on a low wage or unemployed!

My mothers mastectomy still hurts her to this day. The scar tissue, loss of muscles, and lymphatic flow have left her very damaged. A last resort to help save a life due to cancer, yet celebrated here as some bizarre fashion choice. You will NEVER be able to breast feed and you have lost erogenous feeling. Yeay you.

I'm so sorry that your mother had to go through that. That must have been incredibly difficult and painful, and cancer is a horrible thing. All my condolences to her.
However, you using that story to shit on a trans person's (completely different mind you) surgery is just mean and unnecessary.
From what you said, it seems that your mother had to undergo a radical mastectomy - where the muscles behind the breast and the lymph nodes are removed as well. That is not at all what happens in top surgery, so there is no loss of muscles or lymphatic flow, and I have never heard of scarring from top surgery continuing to hurt after years (though I can't say that it has never happened to anyone ever).
By the way, you know what, getting this surgery greatly reduces the chances of actually developing breast cancer, so people are less likely to need the kind of radical surgery that was necessary for your mother which gave her major complications.
Also, I'm sure you probably know this already and are just saying it here too be a transphobic twat but it's not a fashion choice, by any stretch of the imagination. Dysphoria is fucking awful and trans people have this surgery because of how much it improves their quality of life and their mental (and physical) heath afterwards.
Also, lol 'you will NEVER be able to breast feed and you have lost erogenous feeling' oh no how terrible! However will any trans person cope? I can't think of anything more terrible myself than not having erogenous nipples or having to bottle feed the baby I'm never going to have. I'm sorry, very few ftm or non binary people I know want to ever carry a child themselves that this statement is bizarre to me. And breast feeding is not the only option even then. For many cis people, this isn't an option either. It really isn't the end of the world. And the erogenous nipples thing is so bloody trivial.
So yeah. 'Yeay' them, because they have now had top surgery which they seem incredibly happy with, and a great support system around them. Congratulations and all power to them for doing what is best for them.
Why not try stopping going around looking for videos to get mad at so you can shit on other people's parade and go do something fun with your life?
