I was about to say this. This priest needs to be a better example to young men in the community. Honestly I will go down to his church one day and hand out flyers for people to check out Jay Dyer and also David Patrick Harry )Church of the eternal logos) here on CZcams. The Christian revival in America needs better role models.
I remember when I was an altar boy in grammar school back in the 70s, I liked to volunteer for the 7am Sunday mass. No singing, so it was a ‘fast’ mass, and then I had the rest of the day. I enjoyed the time just before the mass would start, chatting with the other altar boy and the priest. All the priests there were cool, but one was very young and all the kids in the school really enjoyed his antics.
I love these. Could you maybe make some longer ones and talk us through making coffee, settling in to meditate, etc? It would be like having some company in the morning, just the chatting and silence both that happen naturally when there’s someone else around, bc when living alone, mornings are just different. I think many can relate; 1) as a kid I really had No Idea how busy priests are. 2) Was confused why they always asked us to pray for them. At 55, Now I know. ❤
Quit drinking coffee. Go to sleep earlier and get 7-8 hours of sleep, you wont even think about coffee anymore. Take care of your health Father and God bless!
I tend to notice now that when I get right under 7 hours of sleep, I feel good all throughout the day. 8 hours sleep makes me feel drowsy. God bless 🙏✝️
I’d love to talk with you personally, or have you do a video about your vestments: (as an Anabaptist, I’m sure I’ll use the wrong words) you appear to kiss the one sash? Why the sash under the robe? Why different colors? Etc, etc. explain it like I’m part of a tradition of Christianity that left Catholicism 500 years ago and isn’t huge on symbol and ceremony… lol

Its honestly become an abomination and has strayed so far from the teachings of Jesus Christ and what is taught in the Hebrew Bible, not the mistranslated corrupted Bible they read in that Church. But that isn't surprising considering its original purpose was to be a Church made to control Christians in the Roman Empire, then to decieve them into worshiping men in wizard suits sitting on golden thrones claiming to directly talk to god on a regular basis. I mean its really not that hard to see through the absolute lies of this church and how since the day it was created it has been a direct attack on what Jesus Christ stood for. And if you dont believe me, just look at the people who created it and the people who are currently at the top running it. Its no wonder why so many Vatican Priests have been caught doing unspeakable acts to children. Believe what you want but just know that one step out of the catholic church and one towards the bible, is a step closer to God.
First, don’t judge. Second, he knows his schedule better than you. Third, this is only about 60 seconds of his day; I doubt he would be wasting it showing every little activity he does.
I celebrate Mass once a week before classes begin, and it is optional for the students. There is a monthly Mass that all students attend during the school day.
No, Jesus wore appropriate clothing for the time that he walked the earth and all followers of Jesus wear clothing appropriate for our time that we’re walking the earth.
@@thomasrzepka2590 I wear my clerical shirts (black with the white square) as a uniform so people know I’m a priest and can call on me when they need a Sacrament or other spiritual help. We wear the vestments at Mass as part of our ritual tradition that dates as far back as the Middle Ages. Each piece of the vestments at Mass has a spiritual meaning behind it that helps explain the greater mystery we’re celebrating at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
@@fr.dominicclemente1943 I remember being so moved the first time I got to hear my parish Priest praying the prayers as he put on each part of his vestments - was so powerful and moving learning what each part represents (I use to go through at my parish priests request and hoover at the sacristy door as a supervisor for safeguarding when my son was young and altar serving).

One thing people definitely don’t appreciate about priests/pastors is the almost always on call nature of the job and the late events.

The alarm should go off at 5:30 AM to hit the gym from 6 AM to 7 AM.
As a protestant pastor, this is my daily routine.
Quit drinking coffee.
Go to sleep earlier and get 7-8 hours of sleep, you wont even think about coffee anymore.
