How to Make an Altered File Folder: Part 1!

Do to popular demand, I have put together a series on how to make the Daisy Delight altered a File Folder! It was a lot of fun to make, so I hope you are going to join me and make one too.
If you are not sure how to resize your digital kits please have a look at the following tutorial, where I tell you how to make the most of your digital kits.

I’m so grateful for you. You are truly amazing. I have been sick for 8 months. AND we had a wonderful home built closer to the beach we moved on JUNE 2 My craft studio will be last.to get unpacked. However, I’ve got my I pad to keep my “journal and ephemera” I get tired and take a nap. I’ve been very unwell the last 8 months. I can’t leave my home unless dr. And diagnostics. The way you give the dimensions of every piece is awesome, as some tutorials only give partial dimensions, Keep it up, so very helpful. This is great. The longer size of the file folder is called legal folder and is 14 inches in length.

My ruler is about 20 years old, a little bent and I bought it in an independent craft shop. You can get something very similar on Amazon, called Joy's tear ruler. I hope that is helpful lovely. This is wonderful seeing how you did this. My friend's BD is in August,so I'm going to make it as is, and she'll never know! Where does your word "grow" come from, that you use on projects? Oh yeah... I bought those field notes stamps because of you and Tracie Fox!

I want to follow along with your video, but for some reason I don’t have the very 1st page that you are using with the yellow daisies right in the middle of the right hand side. Hi Cindy, The page you refer to comes from the lazy daisy collection lovely. Please don't feel you need to buy a further collection, you could use one of the other pages from the collection you have. Hi Kathleen. I am so glad you are excited to commence with this project! The paper sheets are from the 2 Daisy kits I listed. So you should be able to find those. Are you referring to the page you stick to the front sheet and back sheet? I haven't used anything else besides these two kits here. Please email with the ones you cannot find. @@AngelaKerrDesigns I have sent an e-mail to My Porch Prints. When you look at their page on Etsy it shows the papers you used in Part 1 & 2 but when you print them out they aren't there. It does print out 35 pages for the bundle and 10 pages for the journal. They must have changed some of the pages. I haven't heard back from them yet. I Will let you know. Sorry to be such a pest. Hugs to you too. I may need a whole bunch before this project is over...LOL

So pleased to see this tutorial,Angela I have a quick question,when I see your projects your prints come out lotts lighter than mine and my friends ,are you lightening up your printer ???? As the grey on the edges comes out slot darker and the daisies too???? So looking grungy not soft like yours

I am brand new to your videos, so hope this question is not a bother. I have fallen in love with the crinkled, wrinkled looking yellow ribbon you used at the top of the big tag. Where, what and how can I get some of the same?????
Nothing is ever a bother to me at all. I have used seam binding ribbon for the yellow, which I got from Splattered Inky on Etsy on that occasion. It is seam binding that I have crinkled myself, but spraying it with water and crunching in my hand and allowing it to dry. Any seam binding will do the trick. Are you living in the US or the UK?
