Wow! # 4 in the same day?! Wonderful! So far so good, looks wonderful. Had to take a break and was outside on my deck reading and you popped up! Did not get as hot as predicted, saving the heat for next week. I had to laugh at your excitement of McDonalds burger boxes. I rarely eat there but did stop on my way home last night. Never thought of the box but I do keep the brown paper bags! We have so many fast food places and during the lock down that was all that could be open, drive-thru. I don’t cook just for me so ate more frozen dinners. I did save those boxes for lightweight cardboard! 😂. Crafters see things in a different light ...it’s not trash , it’s creative material! Thanks..great video!

Loving part 4! Yesterday I spent ages empty boxes from the pantry to save for tags. Thinking all the while how much money I was saving and reducing the amount of trash I put to the bin. Looking forward to pt. 5 🌈❤️🌈
That is awesome!! I save all the sleeves and card that I can reuse and then cut the small pieces off that I cannot use. Store them in a box. I use recycled packaging for most of my tags and journal cards, postcard Digitals, flips, flaps etc. It does save you a lot. Part 5 is looming very soon! Hugs and smiles 🌸🌷🤗💗😘

Us crafters are really set apart from the rest of the world aren’t we 🤣 I’ve trained my triplets to keep an eye out for potential project supplies, lol. I would only purchase both kits, if you are wanting the exact replica of what I have done Sharon, but if you have other kits you like, please use those. I don't want to encourage spending, if you have seething you like already. Even scrapbook paper would work beautifully!! I have seen the most amazing project photos using completely different papers. Lovin' this folder series, Angela! But I have a question for you....I have those floral dies that you use. And I was wondering if you have trouble with the dies cutting all the way through the paper? Some cut out fine, the more intricate ones don't. I've tried colored copy paper, single thickness and doubled, cardstock, and even used wax paper. It does help. I even used new cutting plates in my big shot. Can you please tell me what kind of paper and weight you use, when using those floral dies? Thank you! And keep those videos coming, but don't forget to eat!! Lol. Big Hugs 🌼 Suzy xo
A metal shim or several pieces of card will help, and run through several times. I have a precision cutting plate and have no issues with these dies. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much Suzy. So glad you are enjoying this and having fun! On the die cuts, I have found a few things that might help. Firstly, make sure they are not bent, they do bend slightly with use. Secondly, make sure there are no bits of paper stuck in the little holes before you recut. I have a little die brush I run over the die to to ensure that everything is clear. This is very NB. It is a rotary brush and it works a treat! Paper: I use all sorts, card, scraps from my digital prints. Give it a go by removing every little piece with a pokey tool to check if it works well first. I'm laughing at your story about the packaging your burger came in. Sounds like me. I do stuff like that too. Just a little confused about the envelopes. When you cut it and turn it up right, do you over lap it just a bit and then sew them on to the main part? Hope my question isn't confusing.

Angela, I need your help. I'm working on it and having soooo much fun but I'm stuck on the Edith Holden page. You cut the three pieces on the fold line. Now how did you reattach the small flap? I'm not a seamstress so maybe I just don't get how to sew hahaha. I just don't get how you attached the top flap and still got the crease/fold line. I've been looking at your envelop for hours now and tried it on a plain paper but I can't do it.
Hi Iris. I am so sorry to hear that you are struggling there. I attached the small flap by running a thin bead of glue along the one side of the flaps and slightly over lapping that onto the middle piece of paper. I then stitched over it. If that still doesn’t make any sense, then please email me and I will try and do a few pictures for you. Hugs and smiles 🌸🤗💗🦋

I would only purchase both kits, if you are wanting the exact replica of what I have done Sharon, but if you have other kits you like, please use those. I don't want to encourage spending, if you have seething you like already. Even scrapbook paper would work beautifully!! I have seen the most amazing project photos using completely different papers. Lovin' this folder series, Angela! But I have a question for you....I have those floral dies that you use. And I was wondering if you have trouble with the dies cutting all the way through the paper? Some cut out fine, the more intricate ones don't. I've tried colored copy paper, single thickness and doubled, cardstock, and even used wax paper. It does help. I even used new cutting plates in my big shot. Can you please tell me what kind of paper and weight you use, when using those floral dies? Thank you! A metal shim or several pieces of card will help, and run through several times. I have a precision cutting plate and have no issues with these dies. Hope this helps.

On the die cuts, I have found a few things that might help. Firstly, make sure they are not bent, they do bend slightly with use. Secondly, make sure there are no bits of paper stuck in the little holes before you recut. I have a little die brush I run over the die to to ensure that everything is clear. This is very NB. It is a rotary brush and it works a treat! Paper: I use all sorts, card, scraps from my digital prints. Give it a go by removing every little piece with a pokey tool to check if it works well first. I'm laughing at your story about the packaging your burger came in. Sounds like me. I do stuff like that too. Just a little confused about the envelopes. When you cut it and turn it up right, do you over lap it just a bit and then sew them on to the main part? Hope my question isn't confusing.

Angela, I need your help. I'm working on it and having soooo much fun but I'm stuck on the Edith Holden page. You cut the three pieces on the fold line. Now how did you reattach the small flap? I'm not a seamstress so maybe I just don't get how to sew hahaha. I just don't get how you attached the top flap and still got the crease/fold line. I've been looking at your envelop for hours now and tried it on a plain paper but I can't do it.
Hi Iris. I am so sorry to hear that you are struggling there. I attached the small flap by running a thin bead of glue along the one side of the flaps and slightly over lapping that onto the middle piece of paper. I then stitched over it.
