    When will you be posting more full install videos? These are always great to watch, the longer and more in-depth the better.

    I just got this one last week, and it's MASSIVE ! Didn't expected that big size but awesome effectiveness

      Compared to some other Beacons this one is a bit larger, but it's also what allows the room inside for all the diodes and optics that make it so powerful.

      @@SIRENNET that is not true ! Look at the R416, the dome is much tighter than the 316 and it's the same technology inside.

    I just read the documentation for this light. It shows PATTERNS 27-32 as SWEEP selections. My understanding is this would mimic TRAFFIC ADIVSOR mode. This would allow a RIGHT or LEFT had SWEEP to be set and viewed from BOTH front and rear. If set to OCCILATING mode for example a right rotation viewed from the front would be seen as a left hand rotation from the rear. The SWEEP function could be VERY useful in let's say a snowplow with and extended wing plow.
    I understand that people tend to turn in the direction of the sweep or rotation, hence the use of directional TRAFFIC ADVISOR lighting. With snowplow extended the RIGHT hand SWEEP seen from both front and rear approach would direct drivers away from the extended plow.
    Could you demonstrate the SWEEP functions of this light and how they would be useful in the use I described ?
    Thank You!

    Greetings Chris, Which one gives more light? this or Federal Signal beacon SLR.

  • @trucklifewithjonnystacks5383

    Does it do multiple beams at once similar to the old 2 and 4 bulb rotator beacons?
    If not does Whelen offer a unit that does?
    Do they offer a 2 color rotator? Such as yellow and green or blue and yellow or yellow and white?

      @SIRENNET  Před rokem +2

      Good question; this Beacon does not have any "Multi Rotational Beam Angle' patterns, where it looks like two rotators going verse one.
      It's not offered in a DUO-color (yet), but you can get a two-color split front and rear. Example: Front Amber, Rear Red.

    This vs the feniex am600 in brightness

      Tuff to say... this R316 is one of the brightest LED Beacons that we've seen yet. We don't have any experience with Feniex's AM600.
