Swimming, or just being in water, has a profound calming affect on me and has helped me through many stressful and challenging times.

I love the water.Ocean. I fly when I'm in and floating. It heals me. Also, when I'm home and feel bad for whatever...a long shower.I sit in my chair and spray my neck,my head, and feel the stress leave me. I prefer cold water ,but sometimes hot is needed. I have chronic sciatica, so water is essential.

Alcohol is not the answer. Alcohol is a depressant.

I call that BS, for the simple fact is I go to the beach 7 days a week 6 hours A-day looking at the water and the sun, anxiety gone NO! is my depression gone NO!
So in my opinion that's just BS! Have a great day!

Combined, these two are complex issues and can have roots in God knows what, be triggered by God knows what, but try: a hot bath with 2 cups of Epsom salt and 2-3 cups of aluminim-free Baking Soda, minimum 20 minutes. Bath will release heavy metals from your skin, your internal organs will work faster to detox and breathing in hot air will help your respiratory system and soothe your brain. For example, not only are heavy metals toxic, they are carcinogens and removing them from our bodies feels great. If possible, when you feel really anxious leave everything and do this. Note the before and after.

Is it part of your job? If so, maybe that’s why it’s not curing your depression.. Work definitely won’t do that for ya. You sound pretty stressed and unhappy. Maybe visit a different body of water… different scenery.. Or simply try meditating while near the water…
