Я всю жизнь делаю бисквит такой: 3 яйца, 1 стакан сахара и стакан муки. Яйца с сахаром миксером взбить, муку постепенно ложкой вмешать, и всё. Разрыхлитель не кладу. Форму бумагой застелить, вылить, и выпекать при 170-180 градусах минут 20-25. Это основа. Часто добавляю мелко порезанные яблоки - это шарлотка. Если бисквит разрезать, промазать любым кремом (чаще заварным), и посыпать тёртым шоколадом - это бисквитный торт. Если добавить в тесто пол стакана сметаны, изюм, и пол чайной ложки соды - это сметанник.

Love these! I had to make these twice because the first batch didn’t turn out, I put too much flour in. I used the cup measurements as outlined but 2 cups of flour was way too much. Made again today with 3/4 cup of sugar and 1 cup of flour, they came out much better. I’ll try using a little less flour again next time I make them because I think that will bring it closer to the consistency in the video. Mine didn’t crack on top but still tasted right. i made but used cake cases, and divided to 18 cakes, and cooked in air fryer, rotisserie. took about 12 minutes. if you put a cocktail stick in middle and comes out clean, they are cooked. you can make butter icing and join two together.

Ohhh...I am absolutely trying this recipe. I think I’ll add almond extract to the batter and perhaps a drizzle of bittersweet/semisweet chocolate over the tops of the baked & cooled cookies! I also see the potential for many more variations (different extracts & etc)

These cookies are so underrated. I am from Sicily and we call them Ciambelle. In the US they are sometimes referred to as Savoiardi, but that is really a whole other cookie. The crackle of the macaroon top, and the softness of this delicious cookie, hits all the right spots. Pasticceria Rocco in NYC, and Pasticceria Villabate in Brooklyn are the closest I have tasted that match those of my childhood in Sicily.
