Man that's a beautiful truck, I sure wish you would make some videos of the front end pieces going back on it and I can't wait to hear it fire up for the first time, you've done an amazing job so far, please don't hide the rest of the story from us
Just found your channel and I instantly fell in love with this build your attention to detail Is exceptional. Can't wait for the next one I've binge watched them all haha
I just hit subscribe. Love watching the build videos. I'm considering doing something similar using a 1949 White Super Power Mustang cab. Only difference would be dual rear wheels. What bell housing, transmission, and 4WD transfer case did you mate to the Cummins? Do you have a build parts list? Any info you could share would be greatly appreciated.
Found it locally to me, on marketplace, some guy was parting out an old ram I saw it run before he pulled it out, then I rebuilt it to "freshen" it up!
Came across your video by accident but I saw a video of how to install a clutch on a 12 valve Cummins and the guy did a shit ton of weird measurements to line up the clutch and bell housing,it looked like a professional shop just curious I didn’t see you do that and will it be fine just bolting it up like the way you did it? I can probably send the link if you would like to see it, that was the only video I can find of how to install a clutch in a 12 valve Let me know Thanks
thanks for watching, yes you can take as many measurements as you wish, its not going to hurt. if you were to install multiple aftermarket parts, different brand flywheel, different pressureplate, throw-out bearing or possibly an aftermarket bellhousing, or even an un common transmission, i would recommend taking as many measurements as possible, to ensure the input shaft is centered and you have the proper clutch finger spring to throw-out bearing clearances etc. However, installing a factory transmission, bellhousing, clutch, etc setup, that was previosly installed and already proven to work for thousands of miles, ive simply bolted together many times in the past and never had an issue. Should you do what i do? im not going to say that. can it work just fine? absolutely. good luck with your project!
@@onebullgarage ok it was all stock parts that the guy used , he was clocking the fly wheel and used a dial indicator while turning the flywheel and was writing a ton of numbers on the flywheel just thought that was weird never seen anyone do that. Thanks for the response and info If I find the video I’ll post it on this comment just wanted to make sure when I change my flywheel and clutch that I was doing it right

Thanks, nv4500 factory bellhousing and an np205 transfer case, sorry I don't have a parts list
Awesome build!! What transmission did you put behind the Cummins?
Thanks! NV4500 (5 speed) with an NP205 t-case
Where did you get the 12 valve from? I want to do the same with my 46
