"boomerang" and " teleprompters" are excellent songs from Uncluded. I saw them live about 6 years ago and it was a lot of fun
:-: Awesome... I'm checking more if this album or EP out..
I saw them in this old defunct church. It was rad
@@Jones_Jonathan what city? if you don't mind me asking
San Diego
@@iammrwack Aes and Kimya were opening a show for Onry Ozzborn when he released his album "DUO" and an accompanying short film called "DUOFILM". It's a cool 17 minute film with guest appearances by Aes, Kimya, Homeboy Sandman, Rob Sonic, and others. I highly recommend reacting to it. It's incredible. Onry Ozzborn-DUOFILM
Aesop rock for president 2020
Oh wow you did this one! I'm from Nova Scotia where this happened... I remember the day it happened... it was so crazy. It happened right off the coast of Peggys Cove which is a huge tourist attraction; a small picturesque fishing village. It was the fishermen who were the first on the scene to look for survivors... needless to say a LOT of them are still fucked up from what they found...
I LOVE this song and how they approached it.
It's one of the most beautiful places and always one of the most solemn places now...
:-: Wooooooooww Serious... You are where this happened.?? Thats wild as heck.. Kinda sad story but like you said.... The way they approached the track and the event actually makes for a good sound.
This whole album is sooooo underrated. Two people you would never imagine on the same track but pure magic.
:-: RIGHT!!
RUBY 81 is my favorite story, but this is a close second
Dope. Don't know if you've heard Crows 1, off Skelethon, but great feature by Kimya, and a thoughtful meditation on mortality, and what we choose to do with our bodies after we die.
:-: I have not heard Crows.. lol kelp skipping it..
@@iammrwack Crows 2 is also dope. A lot grungier, but one flows into the other nicely. But the way he breaks down burial versus cremation in Crows 1 sticks with me. And Kimya's verse and refrain are equal parts haunting and inspirational, reverent and irreverent, like a choir in a horror movie.
Kimya Dawson is my favourite artist when it comes to indie: thanks to her, I discovered Aesop Rock. Rn I listen to kpop more but I love seeing reaction to the artists that influenced my adolescence, it's refreshing
:-: I Love Their Combination.. Idk but it's a weird combo at the same time it kinda just fits so perfectly..
@@iammrwack I suggest you to check more Kimya Dawson like "The Beer" or "Fire", they are so good but also hits hard
One of my favourite tracks. Doooooope. This is a true story as well. The crash made an episode of MayDay and Aes has talked about this previously
:-: Hmmmmm I'm not surprised it was real.. Just Sooo well spoken and made .
GOAT storyteller, AES
:-: Aes really is..
Aes is the greatest storyteller of our time...respect greatness
:-: Aesop Rock is the GREATEST PERIOD.. Lol we Love Aes here..
According to Aes, this is a true story and he was one of the 5 friends in the room as the kid discovered his mom died in the crash, Not a big fan of this album but this song and "Bats"( tribute to Eyedea) are the best songs on the album.
For another storytelling track, can I suggest Cage "Too Heavy For Cherubs" or "Subtle Art Of The Break Up Song"
:-: "Bats" is not a sad track is it.?? Lol I dont want to cry over another Eyedea track.
@@iammrwack It's bittersweet. It has an uplifting feel I think. It references a place here in Austin under the 6th street bridge
@@iammrwack it's a great track. employs a sorta 8-bit sound in the beat. Worth checkin out. personally I'm a big fan of the album
@@sailcvl3976 :-: Ok Well we can check it then.. I really liked this.
@@iammrwack you'll enjoy it. i love the sound of it. If you feel like going down the wormhole of decoding Aes' lyrics it has a lot of good takes on death. Or, as good as it can be. Dealing with death is always tough, always will be. But good in the sense that it helped me cope with the death of a close friend. Lots of different ways to heal, man. And it always sucks
Love the hair!! Much love
:-: Melllllllllll lol thank you my Sister.
I'd highly recommend this album. it's not in contention for the best rap albums of all time or anything, but Aes and Kimya have a surprisingly great sound together. Teleprompters and Boomerang are probably my favorite tracks personally
:-: Exactly.... I was saying it weird but they just sound so well together.. we for sure are digging into The Uncluded more
Thank you for this reaction
:-: You're welcome... I thank you even more for tuning in to the vid 🙏🏼💪🏼❤️..
@@iammrwack check out the artist "nowhere" try fertilizer. Just a suggestion ;) wanna talk about poetry to the theme of rap. It's right up there with the uncluded
This song is about this ~ en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swissair_Flight_111
Heard this for the first time a couple days ago too haha
:-: Tbh I prolly heard it the around the same day you heard it.. Just now uploaded it after editing.. Much Love and Respect.. Be sure to stick around..
Jambi cafe is an excellent song as well as bats which is a subtle tribute to eyedea where kimya refers to him as the minnesota Dalai llama
:-: I believe I could do that one being it don't sound to sad..
Jambi cafe is an uplifting song that they actually did a live version of from their home

Kind of a weird one by The Uncluded. I would have suggested "delicate cycle" or "the aquarium" first.
:-: Lol I just hopped on one track from The Uncluded...
boomerang is another dope track. same with Teleprompters
@@holyvacant1427 both are fantastic tracks. beautifully written
