Those figurines look like someone took acetone and removed the factory paint and then repainted them. Like, the shapes look legit, the coloring is just off and in some cases completely wrong. You can tell they were repainted, especially with the Flareon, you can see where the eyes shouldve been.

Idk why but this reminded me of when I got a card in an official pack that was a misprint I think. It said Taurus and had all it's stats but it showed a picture of evee on it. And once my friend was showing me his pack and he had the card as well. I tried googling it and I only found one other person on Reddit with the same card.

Bootleg cards are great. I'm pretty sure that at least 70% of my Yu-Gi-Oh collection from back in the day when Yu-Gi-Oh was still cool is bootleg stuff. When you're a kid relying on the pocket money you get for doing piano practice every afternoon, you've got to cut costs. Why spend $20 on legit cards when you can spend $2 on slightly dodgy ones down at that strange Chinese store behind the local Coles?
