I got scammed once the same way but for the same pet. I ended up getting a younger one, it wasn't that bad. Although scamming shouldn't exist and it's really toxic, I bet scammers don't know how it feels to loose something you love because you got tricked

Someone was saying "PLAY CHOOSE A DOOR WITH ME I'LL GIVE YOU A BAT DRAGON" it was 2019 at that time so I agreed and another person agreed too. When we were playing she said firstly "give me a common pet first" I traded my dog and the other person gave her an cat and then she left. (The scammer).
What the hell did you even expect? People will deadass spend times on adopt me trying to think of a new scam tactic than trying to find an answer to a math exam.
Its nice to say the scam to prevent people from getting scammed, but if the scammers that havent learned it would learn a new one, and this scam would spread through adopt me very fast, and the ones that play adopt me but dont watch adopt me on yt, tt, etc would get scammed! I just say to do not give many details for scammers. Have a good day.

Phoenixes were valuable, and I was willing to make a neon at that time. Once the trade ended, i rushed to the neon cave just to find out that they were newborn. How to prevent this: if you hold on the pet, it shows the details during the trade. Check for grammar mistakes or see if there is a scroll for another age (which is the real one), (like she showed)

I had been telling my sister how hard I’ve worked and how much time I’ve spent to get these items which were like 3-4 years and my sister told me she was proud until the next day I went to royal high so I can save up for upcoming items until I realized my inventory was gone except for my wheel items so I just said “I probably pressed the part where it says face/head or whatever” but I remember leaving my outfit on and I wasn’t wearing it so I just refreshed it and roblox sent me an email saying someone went to my account and I did remember seeing it saying the last thing I’ve played was adopt me which I haven’t play in months so I went there all I saw were my normal items I had nothing special cuz I barely played it so I put two and two together (idk how I didn’t notice at first) and realized someone hacked me and took my inventory so I cried to my sister and she said she was gonna give me her inventory but I kept saying “no no you love royal high and I feel bad” but she told me “you worked so hard for your items I need to put your happiness first plus I barely play royal high anymore so just take it, I’m giving you permission to trade my items for better ones” and I remembered she gave me a strawberry basket that I loved and knew I would never trade it and the hacker took it so to avenge my sister I worked my way up and got way better items than before thanks to her I still feel bad for her though 😢❤

When my sister was younger she used to scam people, it was cause she didn’t know that it was wrong and hurting others. All she saw was “woah a way to get free pets in adopt me?! I want a free pet!” And when I explained to her what really was happening she was heartbroken that she did that to others and she even tried to get her account banned as a punishment. I stoped her because she didn’t deserve it, she didn’t know so she got a pass. But the people that know what they are doing? I feel nothing towards them but pure anger. Because they know they are hurting others. Those who didn’t know like my sister, I kinda feel bad for them and feel like someone should let them know what they are doing,the effects, and it isn’t just some way to get a free pet.
