Yeah, that was a hell of a move. Lateral thinking. The gap was small, but with a concave wall, he can align his car just right. Honestly, if that was intentional map design, the mapper is genius. If it tekky hadn’t played this map before, he’s genius as well.
@@Yannex That's an awesome feature. I think risky finishes are really cool for competitions like this, and the one you made is pretty unique and clever. Also, it's pretty awesome that the last map in this competition was made by the winner (thankfully you'd already won, so nobody can complain).
A reasonable distribution for three spots adding up to 333 could be 181, 98, 54. I came up with that using the positive root of the polynomial x³+x²+x-1=0, so you end up with a number x ~ 0.543689 such that x + x² + x³ = 1 And then I just multiplied that by 333 and rounded. So the first gets 333 x, the second gets 333 x², and the third gets 333 x³, each rounded to the closest integer. This also closely approximates the distribution for 350 points, using 200, 100, and 50, just rescaled to 333. Although a more exact match for that would be 190, 95, 48, which would certainly also be reasonable. That distribution would give a 4% greater weight to the first place winner, 3% less to the second place, and 11.1% less to the third place winner, putting a slightly greater emphasis on not just placing high, but specifically placing first.
@@blakeu8547 That is quite a 3-y constant though. It has 3-ness in it by its definition, much more fundamentally so than the number 333 in some arbitrary base. Yet another method might give 166 111 56 or 167 111 55, which approximately work out that 1st gets three times what 3rd gets and 2 times what 2nd gets. 6es would be kinda like double 3s and you get 111 which is also 3-y in this basis, if that's what you prefer. That version would spread points slightly more evenly than my initially proposed method. (You get this by simply going (1+2+3)x = 333 or x = 333/6, and that's the score for the 3rd place) Or how about this: (1/3 + 1/3² + 1/3³) x = 333 1st: x/3 ~ 230 2nd: x/3² ~ 77 3rd: x/3³ ~ 26 This gives the first place an extreme advantage, but it's also very 3-y Lots and lots of possibilities really...
I felt more excited after the tekky finish rather than the first 2 places. No doubt they were insane fights as well. But tekky big braining it was amazing to watch.
Ahh! I remember that! Really helped me in getting me through the war... My back still hurts from crawling in the trenches, but watching you keep me sane! Thank you so much!
Challenge. Witrual hosts a tournament between top track mania players. Multiple maps. Half blind. You tell the challengers the first map is 128³ We host multiple sessions anyone who finishes within the first hour gets into the last 3 maps. Co-operative behavior is encouraged. I don't know if we want to inflict 3 other evil maps or more conventional types. All while Wirtual is busy commentating.
I once would like to see a tournament where the points are distributed way closer to each other. LIke 10 for the win, 9 for second, 8 for third and so on. That way no one can rely on one or two maps getting a comfortable lead there and everyone needs to perform 100% all the time.
The map picker should troll and put in deep fear, trackmanias longest map that looks like a bowl of spaghetti or the no checkpoint massively tall tower map lol
I get it. I really do. What I'm trying to say is if I were to translate it to LoL (as I couldn't think of any other comparison); please don't let challenger players compete amongst average golds. Either do high elo cup and low elo cup or do handicap for low elo. Anyways, good video.
i think yannex winning the match was a bit unfair from the rules part it bc he was winning the 1st match and it has 4 rounds, imagine if they changed the rules quicker / reset the match
@@twodudesgaming85 Thought maybe it was a shorter video of something posted on the main channel, but a reupload could also make sense though curious as to why.
That Final Cut by tekky is some real kacky player thinking

@@Yannex en tout cas c etait un no match pour toi
Yannex legit crushing the competition.
Needs: 20 maps, 2 rounds each map, much flatter point allocation [1x 5pt, 2x 4pt, 4x 3pt, 8x 2pt, 16x 1pt], 100pt max
Yeah Yannex and Lars have a tendency to dominate fast learning competitions. They also pretty much always do well in shitfest and similar competitions
Please do more of these challenges with chat this stream was amazing to watch
im pretty sure this is a re-upload i think ive seen it before
@@mditm6966 I think it might be on the vod channel but I've definitely also seen it before besides playing in it in the second div.
@@murk3608 yeah
That tekky snipe was so sick.
Tekky was such an underdog this RMC. I was routing for them the whole way, glad they got 3rd.
You know the competition is fierce if Tekky's an underdog 😂

no, because we want 3's in the numbers

More of this format for sure. Could easily watch these all day.
Tekky won the whole thing with that risky fin
Cool format. Loved it, would watch more
this was really fun to watch, please do more!
I like this tournament idea; you can showcase different map makers and unique map styles
Great vid! I think this could also be really interesting with a Cup of the Day format, and less rounds per map as was mentioned
Great vid! Wanna see more of this style.
I was legit yesterday thinking about this and couldn't find it on youtube, tekky was such a gigachad for that
This is one of my favorite type of content on the whole of CZcams
It says it was 1 minute ago but I have already seen this?
yooo i love wirtual and im happy that got here so soon

2:13 that guitar squeal sounds exactly like my cat
This was a ton of fun to watch once those first 5 rounds were past.
Boosting the algorithm because this format slaps 🔥
Love this format
I love these custom tournaments! Great format!
Talk about consistent uploads.
Good content. Please more like this 👍.
No mention of two of them beating his "prestigious" time on the last map XD
i loved the tekky snipe
Tekkys brain is huge.
Yannex total domination, wow!
That “Goddamn.” was perfect!
This is a reupload right?
Exactly one hundredth of a second. God like.
2 uploads in one day lets goooo!

Yannex is insane wow, respect to you my dude
Bass good editor!
❤
Awesome video keep it up! Jk I have no clue it dropped 2 mins ago
"They called me a madman", - Tekky, probably.
Good video Bass
If you do this again, I feel like a distribution of $161, $111, $61 feels nice as well...Plus it's as weird as the total being $333
Tekky made Croatia proud.
Think it would be better and closer if there was no warm up phase so at least the first round is solely on discovery run skill
banger content
I love when this guy uploads
10:04 read the chat after Wirt says it’s to short lmao
18:54 tekky’s snipe tho
Doing random map survival with everyone would be interesting
Alternate title: Cup of the day but there's multiple random maps

Wtf I'm gonna do against lars or yanex? Still would be awesome to participate in a cup. Give a think about high elo / low elo.
gotta love koozy's skin
It might just be the novelty, but I think I like this format better than the Cup of the Day.
jolux out here representing bhop in TM 😤
i heard a little bird say that trackmania is deterministic
Love the reupload 😂
Tekky! Tekky! Tekky! :D
Is this a re-upload or did I just catch this live and forget?

i have seen this video seen already in the past
Yannex be like : when do we start raceing?
September 20th this happened 👀
POV you watched this video on his other channel
I have NEVER played Trackmania. But I do have 20+ hours watching Wirtual play Trackmania. What does this mean?
Tekky and Jolux both beat Wirtual's 0:19:433 on the last map
Tekky should change his 75 skin to a 76.
That snipe Oo....
Would love to see this but like no D1-D3 guys.
Wheres that shirt from? it looks so good! :D
nice
