Der AquaLoop in der Terme 3000 in Moravske Toplice (Slowenien) war im Jahr 2008 die erste Loopingrutsche der Welt. Aus über 20 Metern Höhe geht es mittels Raketenstart in eine fast senkrechte Röhre, bevor der schräggestellte Looping folgt. Nach der Schleife durchrutscht man noch ein sehr schnelles Turbo-Stück, bevor man im Landebecken einschlägt. Geniales Ding und die mit Abstand beste Einzel-Loopingrutsche, die wir bisher kennen!

This is the AquaLoop at Therme 3000 in Moravske Toplice Slovenia. Built in 2008, this was the first looping slide in the world. From more than 20 m of height, you rush down a very steep speed part before being launched into the looping. After the loop, you pass a high-speed turbo part before the landing pool awaits you. Amazing ride, by far the most intense single-looping slide we tested so far!

For all worrying about if you don't make it through the loop,
They have holes or some escape port where you would end up at. My first time on this type of slide i didn't make it all the way around so i waited until i stopped sliding back and forth and right where i stopped they had holes to climb out of, and i climbed out, and continued with my day. Operators of loop slides know that people occasionally don't make it all the way around the loop so they make sure they have a way to get out at the parts you would stop at and also the workers should have good communication.

I went on one of these when I was about 14... the loop was more intense and I ended up getting stuck at the top of the loop as I wasn't heavy enough to have the force that was needed to make it all the way around. The crew had to open up the slide to get me out hahaha. Looking back it's really funny but at the time I seriously thought I would die
thats why im glad they made it like this, and not like one of those full on vertical loops where people can slide back down and get stuck

The worlds first looping ride was actually the cannonball loop in action park.
First EFFECTIVELY SAFE AND FUNCTIONAL looping slide. Action Park shut down in 1996 after years of injuries and 6 deaths. Their rides were deathtraps.
When I was at Disney world when i was a kid, some other kid died on one of the rides just before us. Simply because it was too intense... like called space mountain or something like that.

In the one I went to, it wasn't even consistent as to what it is you heard in the last few seconds. I heard a countdown, some weird alien sounds, and the person I was there with said that there was nothing at all one time.
