Thanks!
Well... Gonna have to add this to my list now! Great video!
It would definitely be right up your alley! Lots of bluffage!
That is one cool place!! Definitely going on our list!! ;-) 💙Terry and Terri
Lots to see in that area!
This is a beautiful area, great day for a walk as well
Definitely a great day, thanks for watching!
Amazing video man
Thanks!
Man y’all always find the coolest places. That last bridge was amazing. Great video
Thanks Chris! I had been meaning to check this place out for awhile.
Good to see you guys
Hi Dave!
Thank so much for sharing your adventure ❤️ Beautiful video.
Thanks! Lots of beauty down there.
Very cool info about the differences between arches and bridges. Smoky Bridge area was awesome!
I can't believe it took us this long to visit that place, everything there is the kind of stuff we love. Thanks for watching PFAM!
Awesome place, thanks for sharing. I need to do some hikes in Kentucky.
You should! I see you've been all over the place, Kentucky needs to be added to your list. Rock on!
@@SlonesWildernessExpeditions It's funny that even though I live in Indiana that with exception of Michigan I haven't done much in the surrounding states but have traveled hundreds and a few times Thousands of Miles to see weird places or hike in State or National Parks. This will be on my list for Kentucky when we go. I know that Mammoth Cave is one of the parks That we have been wanting to go to so the Kentucky list just got a little bigger. Thanks again for sharing your adventures.
@@wackyadventuresofmike Yep, and Red River Gorge is also a must! It'll make you forget you're in Kentucky.
What a great park, man, I cannot believe nobody else was there with you but I guess the heat keeps people away. Such gorgeous scenery and yes, the Smokey Bridge was enormous. That dome was incredible to see on the inside top too. Highly enjoyed watching!
Thanks Nicole! It also helped that we did this hike on a Tuesday, not on the weekend, when I'm sure it would be busier. So much to see!
Good meeting you both today 🐍
Thanks! It was a fun day, always is down there!
This was awesome!! What an incredible area. I don’t think I’ve been on that trail. Loved those arch’s. Can you camp out there? Cool video guys 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Jason! The park has a campground, and also there are some backcountry campsites along the 4C's trail, but they do require reservations. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the area.
@@SlonesWildernessExpeditions thank you
I can't believe Backpacking With Jason has never been to Carter Caves State Park. Be sure to check out Grayson Lake while you are in Carter County. It is the best lake to Kayak in Kentucky with lots of cliffs and waterfalls.
Hi, Slone. Thank you for sharing.
Now I know who "Catfish" is...😁
Wow, very creative intro.>>>..0:21
Very cool stone landscape...but started..1:24
Indeed...massive boulder arch..1:47
Wow...unbelievable to see this crack just above you...2:24
Thank you so much for the explanation about the natural stone arches...2:55..it does make sense.
Again, appreciate distinguishing between arches and stone bridges...3:28..didn't know until now.
Yes, this is very unique shaped...4:33
I cannot imagine how heavy this rock is...5:37...robust image...I wonder it will change shape as it weathered and aged..
OMG, yes rooftop is as if it may fall down...7:21😲
Very informative and professionally documented.
It was nice chatting with you. Yasmin is a wonderful UK hiker as well.
We just laughed about Rob's "Fat Man Squeezer." It was coincidental and hilarious because I just had a video" Will she Leap" including "Fat Man Squeeze" and "Needle Nose" in it at kayak7seas.
I am planning a kayaking trip to the Great Lakes next year. I saw your hiking video in Michigan. Do you have a preference for me to watch?
Thank you.🥰🥰🚣♀🚣♀
Thanks for watching! We've only been hiking in Michigan that one time earlier this year, but we hope to get up to more places in the future. Even though we live in Indiana, it is a LONG drive to get to some of the best places in Michigan.
@@SlonesWildernessExpeditions Wow...it's a small world. Kayak7seas and I lived in IN until our daughter turned 4yrs old. Do you happen to know about kayaking at Bluespring Caverns Park?
Had your bell tickled.🥰🥰
@@ms.kayak7seas I know of a boat tour at Bluespring Caverns, and I seem to recall they were doing private kayak tours? That would be fun.
@@SlonesWildernessExpeditions Hopefully..we can manage it...maybe...🍁🍁
I would put this hike in my top 5 in KY. I hope you took the short hike from the visitor center to Natural Bridge. It is an arch with a road over top. It is just a short quarter mile hike to a fourth arch.
There is a lot to see in that park! We will be back.
Mantle rock in Kentucy is the longest natural arch east of the Mississippi River. It's not as wide as smokey bridge, and it's only 30' tall.
Cool, thanks for the info!
