- The palace city of Alhambra in Granada, Spain.
Originally built in 889 AD as a small fortress on top of the remains of Roman fortifications. The current Alhambra was renovated and rebuilt from a ruinous state in the 13th Century, which is when the current Palace and walls were made.
Filmed in July 2017, with a Sony FDR-AX100 4K Video Camera.

For anyone wondering, Moor's were the Muslims from Mecca and Madina following Prophet Muhammad. They used their belief system (Islam) to study science mathematics, etc. which resulted in a boom in many areas including medical and science. This palace is one of the few places that the crusaders decided to not destroy due to it's beauty.
@@HushangA absolutely. The Moor's kicked ass. Black Men did rule the world at one time people. We are a old tribe. A peaceful tribe (sometimes to our detriment) a high science tribe that mastered the hermetic science of music and mathematics. We should focus our energy EAST and find out that the metaphysical and spiritual path on that side of the world is more for us. ☮️♾️

The Umayyad architecture in Spain corresponds to an earlier period (711-1031). The most representative building is the great mosque of Cordoba, which interestingly has a southern orientation as if it was built in Damascus. This is not by accident because other mosques of the same period share a similar southern orientation. The subsequent taifas period, whose main representative building is Aljaferia in Zaragoza is of Jordanian influence. The Nazari period in Alhambra in from 1300-1400 and it is called Hispanic-Moroccan art. In that sense it is similar to other Christian Mudejar (Seville Alcázar) and Jewish constructions ( El Tránsito Synagogue in Toledo) from the same period. Yet, Alhambra has no rival in terms of beauty and spirituality.
