- Turns out Galaxy Pools is super easy to reach with a Quantum Skimmer
With this route, you can sword fly direct to Galaxy Pools, no Navigator or Sparrow Flying required. You just need a simple application of Up Box with a Quantum Skimmer. What's Up Box? Not much, you?
A Skimmer can jump upwards so long as the skimmer remains on the ground, and a Quantum Skimmer with a driver doesn't move. That means you can jump endlessly. And since you're going straight up, there's little chance for line of sight issues for the sync.
Getting the Skimmer into position is also super easy. Since you're in map, the hub is very easy to hit, as opposed to the mysteriously shaped hub below the map. It's even somewhat retry-able. If the Skimmer goes without you, it may fall back in map, and if you fail the flight, you can retry so long as you waited for the Skimmer to land.

With phrases like "the observer rejects your reality" and "jump on the skimmer just to assert your dominance," I started to think that this was an April fool's video that I had missed.
Nah, Quantum Skimmer just acts like that XD
We had one time while attempting the route where a blueberry gained ownership when we tried a teleport. Took us a few minutes to track down where it went.

Something I didn’t know about the Galaxy Pools up until about 3 months ago was, all that structure below the platform. Another thing I haven’t seen at at all, CLIP INTO IT. No video I have EVER seen talking about this place has tried to do that. Theres no reason they only made a platform, that you only see from the top to observe ONE event has any reason to have all that below it, that you’d never see other than when the beam is carrying you to it. There HAS to be something they put inside.

Thanks for sending me to the galaxy pools for the first time. Was trying the last strat for MONTHS before this came out. Took 45 minutes and a small argument on how to not be bad at guiding me lol
I use this to fall asleep sometimes. your voice is very soothing and I dont find myse;lf paying attention to what's happening. it's just white noise. I watch them again bc I like OOB stuff, but you have a unique channel, here.

I've got some practice with it. Often times if a route goes too smoothly, I'll try it a few more times to mess things up a bit so I can figure out the common pitfalls.
I'm glad you found such a convenient Quantum spot. I was initially afraid we'd need to transfer a Quantum through several zones.
Probably a stupid question but I'm new to this whole your reality vs your team mates.
How do you know where you are / when to jump in the waterfall when on your screen you just boost while stationary? Do you need to "steer" or does the onlooker just move you forward in the right direction by looking at your copy?
@@mythe6669 so where you look and boost corresponds to your desynced position generally speaking someone will share there screen with the other person so they can see where they are going.

The quantum skimmer makes things much easier. But I'm wondering if we could use it to get to the Rocketyard in the Cosmodrome.
Nah, there's just no load there. I suppose I haven't checked if it's a disabled load. Probably not, given the way the geometry is. Assuming you can make one in the strike, it'd make hitting the Lynx easier.
@@Froggy618157725 I actually wanted to check if the areas were connected, but I couldn't get out of map in the strike. That leads me to think that it works kinda like the Black Garden on the Moon

(Spoiler?) The new Archie mission for this week takes you into the dark forest, right up to the shard. I know a few people have made it to an outcrop of rock back behind the shard in the playable area that doesn't have kill barriers, and lets you walk right into the grav lift, but it's still inside the push boundary box. I've prodded all around the area and haven't been able to find a way out of the box, but I have flown to the rocky area and hit the start of the grav lift! Surely you can find a way to break out around there.
Not without something as powerful as a general box break, and we're already using one of those for the other routes. It definitely lets you get to the grav lift easier than the normal OOB route, but otherwise it doesn't help with getting to pools.

I discovered while playing Seraph Shield that a double-grapple Hunter with Stompees is all it takes to climb on top of the habitation rings on the far side of the station.
To do this the player has to strand climb to a ledge above the hanger doorway, then jump towards the front of the station, using your super grapples across the sloped surface. From there you should make it to a large platform where you can grapple up to the arm that leads to the inner ring. After climbing up the arm, grapple to the outer ring by landing on a large 2D antenna that has collision. When your super is refilled, grapple up the ring then use your super to refresh your grapples to keep pulling yourself up the ring. This should get you to the top of the station ring. The vertical solar panels are scalable, but the height ceiling prevents the player from reaching the very top.

Interestingly enough, this could be the last chance we get to explore the area in its current form. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets altered in TFS and used for story content.
I'm sure some people will check there right away.

going to attempt this trick this weekend hopefully. Will this be possible if the observer is on PS5? im on pc and my friend is ps5 and ive read through every comment and reply on here and see a person mentioning success on 'new gen xbox' but nothing on ps5 so i dunno what to make of that.
Also i was under the impression that ALL consoles were locked at 30fps (ps4/ps5, xbone, xbox series)? or have i taken too long a break from the game and thats changed?
Some consoles are locked at 60. The newer ones I think, but I only play on PC, so I'm not sure.

Yeah, there's a few things you can do. The fallback point is the original mission start.
Can you only get 1 person out of the two up bc 1 get left behind on the ground is there a way to get two people up with only two players?
Anytime you hit a loadzone, people can leave and rejoin and they'll join in the same zone the fireteam leader is in. So once one person gets there, everyone else can leave and join.
As an aside, unless you explicitly want to take the fireteam to orbit, you should always change characters to leave. It's safer and faster. Would be unfortunate to get there only to take them to orbit because you forgot who the leader was.
I have an issue where when I get to the dark forest load and get my skimmer in position to jump up it won’t let me jump at all no matter what I try, any idea why this could be?
You may have the skimmer in the air. It must be on the ground to jump. I've also heard that the jumping might not work well at 30fps.
okay its not letting me reply at all, at least on my end, the first one I glitched with was on console and used whisper which shows 40zoom 2nd is on pc with a generic 40zoom purple, and it feels impossible to sync back to the skimmer. would higher or lower be better for zoom?
Higher zoom will generally have the sync happen faster. You can also look away to have it not go at all if it's still going too fast.

Yeah. We used to do that for Quantum Sparrow teleports so we wouldn't need to set it up again if it tped too early. It just happens to generally with the observer always looking.

Hey froggy, have been trying this for a day or 2 and Im having trouble syncing with the skimmer and when I do im either to high or to low. What am I messing up with syncing up my skimmer and how do I know Im at the right height to try and sink out of the up box?
What do you mean by being too high? If you manage to sync to it it's not too high. Unless you mean it's going directly into true edge. You can use the size on screen to sorta judge how far up you are. You can also figure about the time it takes to jump that high. I have that part of the video at normal speed so you can get that timing, although the apparent size will vary with fov settings.

Yup. They'll load in right at the main structure.
can this be done on a hunter without navigator flying? i’ve only seen hunters use navigator or titans use infinite sword flying (or anyone just slipstreaming)
Dunno. I'm not on Hunter often. I've seen them cover a good deal of distance with skating, blink, and eager edge. You can land on the Quantum Skimmer if you need to.
Is there any way of getting to the load from in the box? Thanks to this weeks archie quest, I've gotten to the pull in dark forest
Not that we've managed. Dunno if you can take a quantum there directly, but that'd be the only currently known way
Thats sad.... I've been trying to get to galaxy pools myself for a while now, never have anyone to do this version of the glitch with and can't sparrow fly very well. These videos are pretty helpful tho

Rhythm was setting to like 45. Do you mean the vehicle is landing back down and exploding? You can have the observer look away when you get off and look back when you get on, but that can be rough to time.

I did ALOT of testing, if the skimmer goes tooo high it will not tp (i think the skimmer becomes out of the physics render distance of the observer and it just dosnt work) i think your talking about the skimmer teleport??

Quick question, once you are in the Galaxy Pools, if someone joins your fireteam will they land in the pools? I'm thinking this might be a fun side project to do with a couple friends and it'd be cool if we could join on whoever is able to actually make the journey.
Yup. You join into the same zone that the fireteam leader is in. So if one person goes to Quarantine Sector, and one to Galaxy Pools, a third person could swap between them if you promote the person at the destination you want to zone in to.

i got to the galaxy pools but if my friends join me they get spawned in the trostlands. how do i get it so they can join me?
This seems to be a bug introduced with Final Shape. Currently you would need to stop on the lake and IRB out to join. This can be done via grapple flying and the boxless armsdealer load.
Is there a version of this without stasis or strand?
This pretty much is that version. The only place I used strand was at the end, to gain some height. Given that you start way above, there's many other ways to get into the tractor beam. It's just riskier to try to go direct
If mountain top shots will hit the water, you could use that. But I think they just go through...
Otherwise you'd want to go from above, and hope you don't hit the box pull, or the tractor beam post load.
does the one whos staring at it need a low framerate? like to keep it from syncing too fast?
I'm not sure how much that affects it. I think the sniper zoom probably has a bigger impact.

It's not very far, so quite possibly. Plus any class can with Navigator. I'm not sure how the angles work exactly, but I've seen hunters with a sword and blink go pretty far. Really depends on what angle you need to avoid the tractor beam until you're in position.
It's just easiest on Titan

You could, although it's easier to just have the second person rejoin at Galaxy Pools
I doubt a rocket would go far enough, and rocket grapple horizontally is pretty challenging.

Gotta go up. It's a bit lower if you go towards the map, but you should be able to hit it close to where you land. Easiest is with grapple and something like strafe lift. You jump towards the end of the grapple and just glide up. If you don't have strand and are on Titan, you can do some z climbing with hoarfrost z.

If the one jumping is not 30 fps that'll probably work, although you may need to look away as the observer for the remount since you'll have a pretty good connection presumably.

If you use navigator you can do it in pretty much the same way. Otherwise you'd need to hit a very precise skate and go from above.

I can't seem to get the turn back for long enough I will only get to 3-4 secs on the timmer then I go through. any help?
Keep to the left before you're going. Don't stay for too long before going, and have allies stay away to ensure they don't touch the preload.

When you hit a loadzone, generally the load is fast. This is because the game does some of the necessary steps ahead of time once you enter a certain region we call the preload. Generally a long load means that the game either didn't complete the preload steps before hitting the loadzone itself. You can do that by either passing through the preload quickly, or avoiding it altogether by hitting the loadzone from an unusual angle. That's why you have to climb way up out of the way.
So is this possible on xbox? I can set it all up, but I havnt been able to do the sync up out of box.
You can do the sync at any frame rate, so assuming the jumping is working, it should work. Rhythm was observing at a lower frame rate.

I'm trying to do the glitch right now and i'm having a problem. When i dismount and try to remount i don't get teleported to the sky. What could i or the observer be doing wrong?
Does the vehicle go without you? Do you complete the circle before it goes? If you're completing the circle and don't teleport, it's a line of sight issue. If it's teleporting before you have the chance to get on, you could have the observer lower their frame rate, use a lower zoom gun, or look away while you dismount.

In that case, it may help to be zoomed in on the skimmer in the sky with a sniper. It will never move while you're still riding it, so if it's not going, you may want to delay getting on slightly. If you wait too long it'll go without you. If you're jumping up too high before going for it, it may leave the range that the observer can act as an observer for it.

Is my computer too fast? I always load the sludge before dying to the turn back timer. It’s not even close sometimes.
You can try varying the way you go. If you're within the preload, it will start prepping things. I'd recommend coming from as far left as you can, and ensuring that no one in your fireteam is anywhere near Sludge. It's possible the first time you do it it might be a tad longer. But the long load is usually more about coming from a weird angle than computer/network speed. I've got a fiber connection and don't see trouble with it unless I'm a bit too far right.
I believe most of that delay is hooking you up with the a bubble server, which would normally happen in the preload, but if you skip that it has to do that search after you hit the load.

I’ve found getting to the tree area and backing up till you see the turn back gets to 1 then summoning the skimmer and boosting hits it more frequently

The way ive gotten it to work consistently is to lower my FPS to 30, and have my friend leave the fireteam until i get it.
it works 1 out of 3 attempts this way, the other 2 being timing issues lol
How do you keep jumping and sword flying ?
Not sure what you're asking exactly. Sword flying normally has you jumping as catapult lift recharges.

If you mean for the skimmer, a quantum Skimmer remains in place for the rider, so it remains on the ground.
I keep getting my skimmer to the dark forest and when I do the jumping part it teleports to quick any tips ?
You actually have control of when the teleport can start to happen. If it happens to quickly, you can have the observer look away when you get off, and look back when you're getting back on. Often times that isn't necessary due to how the timing works out. Alternatively you could try a lower zoom sniper, or no zoom.
If the observer isn't looking, you shouldn't get an update. If you're staring at the skimmer, it may stop the update as well.

For some reason the skimmer will no longer jump when i place it in the second spot (right before the dark forest). I've been trying for days and i have no idea what i'm doing wrong. Thx for the tutorial, btw.
If the skimmer thinks it's in the air, you won't be able to jump. I've also heard it can be weird at 30 fps. You can try syncing it to a different location to see if that helps.

I'm not super sure whose frame rate matters for the jumping. I assume the skimmer rider, but haven't messed around with that part. I added that info pretty late, hence it being just text.
@@Froggy618157725 i tried yesterday, when my skimmer is stuck on the tree i can spam the jump button and it'll do the animation just fine. However, the moment we sync the vehicle to any other place it stops working. I really don't know what to do, it might be a framerate issue, i play on ps4 and my observer on pc. Maybe this doesn't work on console...
Finally got there! And i can confirm for you guys, you can't be the skimmer rider on console because you gotta be capped at 60fps, otherwise you can't jump when you sync the vehicle. Hope this will be helpful. Thanks for the tutorial, Froggy!
I just cant seem to get the teleport to work (when going up through the roof to hit the dismount re-mount).

You can control the speed of the teleport. Lower zoom seems to make it slower, but the observer can also just look away, then look back when you start getting on.
Can I get a skimmer or is it a event only thing
At the moment I don't think there's any free ones. I'm not even sure if the paid one is available. I'm sure it'll be back soon enough though. No way they make it once a year
Can I do this as a warlock or hunterwithout strand?
Warlock can probably use heat rises and eager edge, and maybe Dawnblade. Haven't tried. You'll need to modify the route a bit and maybe take a riskier path. For Hunter maybe if you get a really good skate and place it perfectly... You're probably need to land in the tractor beam from above for both.

I keep getting stuck on the "get back on the skimmer" part in the forest, it doesnt give me time to even get back on, its instantly gone.
You're in complete control of that timing as the observer. If you don't look, it won't go. If you look less hard (lower zoom), it'll generally take longer. It just so happens that having the observer just stare at it works best most of the time.

Definitely with Navigator, probably with a good skate, but it'll probably be a bit tricky to get the positioning right.

I've heard the infinite jumping on a quantum Skimmer doesn't work well at 30fps, so if you're on a console locked to 30fps, it may not work for you :(

Yeah, with navigator. Otherwise maybe? I'm not super knowledgeable on skate sorta stuff, but you might be able to reach the pull from skating off the skimmer up top, but accuracy would be an issue.

@@imspecialhunter268 It might help if the observer is at lower frames. If you're seeing the circle complete and it teleports without you, then it's a line of sight issue. If it's going before you have a chance to get back on, you can have the observer look away, or perhaps use lower zoom.
There used to be a way to get to Galaxy Pools solo and than out of nowhere it wasn't possible solo anymore.... Over the years things have changed in the game which might of made it possible to solo has anyone found a method to solo Galaxy Pools again?
If we can wrong load on a no disabled load we've got a method. Definitely would be tricky, and far easier with two though. Drop box could be done somewhat solo, as long as you instance matched with a flipped sparrow in the right spot.

That's the closest to a solo route we currently have.
You can sword fly up instead of thundercrashing at the end.

Not sure what you mean. After the jumping up part, you need to dismount and remount when the observer causes the skimmer to update to a position above you. If you get the timing right, and have direct line of sight to the skimmer, you'll teleport with it as you start to ride it. That's the same zone, just above the box barrier. Is that the part you're having trouble with? If so, what exactly happens?

While the observer is watching me with a sniper. I either 1) get stuck way to high or 2)cant get into the box barrier area after dismounting/remounting

I don't understand what you mean by getting stuck too high. There is no "too high" until it's outside of true ceiling, and I don't even know if it'd let you teleport if it's reached there. Just drop more. Unless you mean it's getting to far for the observer to be able to sync it? In which case you can lower it. The observer is in complete control of when the resync can start happening by controlling where they look.

If you have navigator, you can just use that. Otherwise you'd have to get a bit fancier with the sparrow flying method, or get a good skate, with blinky extension stuff.
Is Titan the only class that can do this without Navigator?

Probably not. It'll just be harder, and you might have to go directly into the pull. Solar Warlock certainly can, and blinky Hunter probably can.

Dawnblade, heat rises, eager edge possibly. Super covers a fair bit of ground, and you can use heat rises and eager edge to cover a fair bit more, and then aim down scope to hover with Sacred Dawn while waiting for Icarus dashes to refresh, comboed with eager wings. If you drop in the right place, you can drop right into the tractor beam/loadzone.

Sword flying? You use catapult lift and Lion Rampant to regain height, and a sword swing to kill downwards momentum while your jump recharges. The strong initial upwards boost of catapult lift lets you stay level as long as you have something like a sword to keep in air longer. Other classes don't have catapult lift, so they don't get the same amount of benefit.
Pulling out the ghosts acts as swapping weapons, which activates eager edge. That's just an optimization though.

One of my best friends and i have been trying to get in there, shes a d1 beta player amd I'm her onlh seasoned oob player friend and we are trying to get there but its not going well, cant get quantum vehicles to work, and she cant sparrow or titan fly

@@Froggy618157725 as in to help or what we're struggling with? Because I'm struggling getting the right timing for a quantum sparrow, she got it by lick but she can't do any flight, she struggles trying to hotswap, just can't time her jumping correctly.
With what you're struggling with. I'm not within 100 miles of my PC at the moment. Got a good view of the eclipse though :)
I assume you mean skimmer, cause a Quantum Sparrow would just make it harder...
What hot swapping are you doing? It's close enough that normal sword flying should work. I was doing the double eager swap stuff because I thought it was going to be much further than it was. If you're talking sword flying in general, I'd recommend practicing elsewhere first to get a feel for it. Cistern is a decent place, with several platforms at the same height with a good gap between them. It gives you a good way to tell if you're keeping height.
@@Froggy618157725 I meant the hot swapping as a reference, she's not good at timing her jumps, always falling from the sky, and I can't get the skimmer quantum consistently enough to use it when I need it. I've got a PC and I've tried to do it there too. I can sword fly consistently and she's more easily able to quantum but we can't get them timed just right.

The main thing with sword flying is that it's all about catapult lift. All the sword does is keep you in the air longer. You want to use only enough jump to get a bit higher, then swing as you're starting to fall to cancel that momentum and buy more time. You're not swinging at the height of your jump, but on the way down. You should feel the full catapult boost. If you don't, you didn't recharge enough. I'm planning to make a big sword flying guide soon, but probably won't have it for a week or two. I do go over it a bit in this old guide though: czcams.com/video/u81UgKyRiQE/video.html

Depends on the console. I've heard that 30fps doesn't work well for the quantum Skimmer jumping, but 60 is fine.

It exists in a superposition of states that collapse upon observation, jumping between states without touching any of the space between. Seems pretty Quantum to me ;)
@@Froggy618157725 well yeah I gathered that from your line about someone in the load zone observing it. Its like the only time you guys used quantum right bc there's also the quantum sparrow where both observers are technically right and the quantum finisher.

Skimmer grind isn't infinite. Also you'd have to resync it. It's not a normal skimmer.

Can't summon in Dark Forest. Quantum Skimmers do not move for the owner. It only moves when updates by an observer while it's not being ridden, so you'd have to resync to gain any distance that way.
