[Destiny 2] I Found A Meaty OOB on the EDZ

- The Last Time I discovered an OOB was over a good few years ago, but finding this OOB in the EDZ was far from my expectation and is probably the best OOB I've discovered so far by random chance.
Thanks to that one random scannable Bungie removed for making me find this.

i found this in witch queen when eager edge came out in the 30th anniversary, you can see the churches texture if you go far left, can even see it upclose with wellskate and heat rises to hover before you fall to your death
For anyone curious, I did this about a year ago when Strand came out, I started grapple flying about to see what I could learn.
True edge height is stupid far up, like just about the top of the shard of the traveler.
Speaking of which, I flew out to the shard to see if I could actually get close enough to "touch" it (Obviously intangible). But sadly, just before I reached it, I hit the true edge, warping me back to the last safe ground I stood on.
If you were to fly up to the top of the map, right before true edge and then look back at the map, the map is tiny. Legion's Anchor, despite how huge the whole area is, inside and out of boundaries, is extremely small when viewed from that height.
Ah if only grapple flying didn't get soft patched. It is technically still possible, but much more tedious to do
after trying it for a little bit I was able to take a skimmer with me to that lost sector and out of bounds thank you for showing this :D

this is used in part of a strike speedrun btw. if you learn cp loads you can end up going oob to boss area (not where you went. just from the start of the lift you would take
Sounds like a nice skip for the strike, will definitely have to try it one day

When Guardian Games dropped I started bringing a Skimmer out here after joining friends randomly. After a while theyd message me and if I looked back toward the strike area I could see them just watching me roam around, making people confused in Destiny is always entertaining.
Do you think that you can go over galaxy pools to there?
Oh yeah I've done this quite a bit in the past it is quite fun, a lot easier to do now with strand
