For those who are wondering, this is possible to do in vanilla. You need to use the /attributes and set the ‘Generic Health’ to 1, and the next time you take damage, your health bar will be reduced to half a heart.

Fixed it: and when you fall from higher up, the more damage you take

saturation makes wonders (if you didn't know - you get a good amount of saturation when starting a world. not sure if you get saturation after re spawning)

That water jump reminds me of when i saw water at the bottom of this huge ravine me and my friends found and it was only a tiny bit of water and as my friends were debating on what to do to get down i backed up a bit and ran and jumped into the ravine, funniest part, we all started laughing because despite it being a small bit of water and me being on console which means I wasn’t that good i somehow made it
