For those of you who don't seem to like this commercial, I'm sorry but you've obviously never dealt with wetting your pants in public. I feel sorry for you, especially the women, because when you get older it will happen at least once and you're going to be the ones who are to stupidly uptight to go ask for help. Women, sometimes piss themselves, its a fact of life and quite frankly I think its time we stop being so god damn hush hush about it. Maybe we wouldn't be so afraid to except it then.
I have to agree. And it's not just women either. I'm an adult male, and I still wet my pants. I'm physically able-bodied. I know when I need to pee and when I need to poo. It's just that it's not always possible to be near a toilet when you need to go. No one can hold on indefinitely. Believe me, I've tried. I've been to doctors and urologists, and they all suggest everything from surgery to weight loss, exercise, to drinking less caffeine, etc. As far as surgery, fat chance am I having that done. Unless there's something cancerous down there that could kill me if not dealt with, forget it.
For me, this was the best part of the Oscars. It was downhill from this. It was new to me, but seems that others here were already familiar with the ad. And no-one except Whoopie could have done it as well!!!!!
1 in 3 isn't a stretch - a lot of women who have been pregnant have this problem, as the weight of the baby causes a lot of physical changes. Just thinking of the number of women in this country who are pregnant, you'd get a lot more than 1 in 3. And pregnant or not women of all ages, from teenage years to old age have this problem. It's just that no one talks about it, because, well, who would want to?
Love it! My girlfriend just sent me this link. Very funny way to deal with a subject you never hear about at the local Dunkin' Donuts. Anyone doubts the statistics, look at how many older women (in their 70s) buy pads at the supermarket. I didn't know it was 1 in 3, but I'm not surprised.
The Poise series featuring Whoopi Goldberg is one of the most BRILLIANT MARKETING CAMPAIGNS in the history of womankind! Please let the creators know I said that they are geniuses! thx, Hil
I am surprised to read that mostly everyone loves this commercial It must be me then, because I think it is absolutely ridiculous, and I cant believe that Whoopi Goldberg agreed to do it
@th1smomentisfate Grl you have too be open minded and realize that not everyone is the same..this commercial..like every commercial..is speaking to the people who have this problem..notice she said "1 in 3" not everyone. If you dont have the problem then theyre not talking to you.
Remember the Whoopi Goldberg TV Ad Commercial for Poise. It's on CZcams.😮.

love it. Some humour that is much needed for stuff like this
I agree. However embarrassing it can be, sometimes humour can at least make it not so embarrassing.

It's a fact of life, and it's NOT fun. Something tells me you are too young to understand.
