- Gavin Weir had an amazing performance for South Dakota at the 2021 Little League World Series both on the mound and in the batters box. This video highlights his games from Williamsport.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
If you’re looking for a place that can educate you with commentary on top of high quality edits, this is the place for you! I’ve covered Baseball (MLB, NCAA, LLWS), Football (NFL, NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), Softball (NCAA), and much more!
I make my videos on the HP Spectre x360. I use Adobe Premiere Rush to edit, which allows me to commentate and efficiently splice up clips in a high quality way.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Wheels finally getting the recognition he deserves. This man is a LEGEND I’ll be here when he’s at 2mil
He showed out all the way until he was no longer able to pitch what a arm 😊 great job dude
The arm action is very well suited to pitching. Hope he does well going forward in baseball and also life.
This kid is amazing and has nasty pitches he deserves all the respect and more 👏 🙌
Wheels, you are so consistent!! The uploads through the LLWS has been awesome! Good job my dude!!
for the love of god keep this kid healthy.
I would love to see this guy pitch against Reece Roussel from 2019 llws
He's got great control
YOU DID IT WHEELS!!!! 200 K!!!! CONGRATS!
Thank you!
his back must hurt a lot from carrying his team
Gavin is amazing
If this kid plays like this, his whole life, he is major league bound, that's for sure
Awesome kid! Congrats
Congrats on 200k
Thank you!
Congrats
Gavin weir so good
In SD 14u baseball I've matched up with Gavin Weir and he throws gas🔥
Nah he still throws low 70s.
Thats one bad boy!!!! Headed to the MLB!!!
Hi5 @ 200K WTG
Amazing Potential Gavin Congrats Fella
Notice what the score is in the games he's pitched? South Dakota's offense blew.
South Dakota had a pretty damn stacked top half of the line up. California had their ace pitching too who was also just as dominant
200k Congrats 🎉
Thank you!
@@WheelsYT thanks for the content 🙂
Yo great vid much love!!!!
.3
gavin weir was on fire that day
He was on fire The Whole tournament!
Imagine playing this man in little league
ayyy 200k lez go
Two no hitters, insane!!!
He threw five no hitters
Anyone notice how good the catcher is also
@pojo 10 better than u
@pojo 10 who cares if u r that has nothing to do with it if u can't see good talent u need new glasses I've been around baseball for years ur opinion means nothing
@pojo 10 who r u coaching 70 year Olds or what u act ur some highly intelligent dude get a freken life I would never want to see u coach
@@mrprivate9895I hate talking about a 12 year old kid like this but I'm going with pojo on this one. I don't really know what you seeing that makes him stand out in anyway. He may be great but Gavin not really the picture to show case a catchers talent all we seen was him catching a bunch of strikes. I don't think one was in the dirt.
Yes very mid, can't catch many pitches, terrible framing and overall not very good
All little league World Series home runs 10 mins Gavin weirs highlights 13 mins
Me oOooOoooO
The other coach was like “ we got no hit, and he is really good”
Hey wheels can you make a llws vid of highlights of the whole llws please
He has been playing U14 USSSA alll season pitching from 60 feet. Maybe Little League will start getting some of the top players once they figure out how to bend the rules..
You’re allowed to play higher ages if you want it is all at the discretion of the player
I guess what I am saying is now you don't have to play exclusively on a in-house Little League sanctioned team like years ago. Many player are now playing on teams with stealing and farther distance mound and base paths. Then play Little League too. In the past most top players in the Midwest did not play Little League sanction.
These umps have the widest strike zones
600 pitches last 8 games, and throwing curves. His arm will be gone before he's 18. When I was a kid, even older kids had an inning limit for each week. He's paying the price for adults who want to win games.
Crazy how they hesitate to use the word unbelievable
cam thorning next please
Also 14 years old before his birth certificate was updated. 😎
He was playing with 14 yo, not actually 14.(unless he used fake birth certificate)
Plays with 14 year olds but is 12
I just played him In travel ball he hit a walkoff 3 run shot.
Stay healthy
The next cris sales
Gavin Weir’s highlight reel is one second longer than Reece Roussel
He is the Reece Roussel of pitching
Chris Sale? He bout to take his job! Lmao
Getting Chris sale vibes from this kids pitching
I play for 5 tool sports and were coached by Ronnie weir Gavin weir’s father
He goes to my school
POV this kid was in my AA tournament in Kcmo throwing 80
lmao marlowe
This is different little league is stupid very short bases field and mound I’m twelve as well with 6 foot players throwing close to 80
not to be dramatic. but if i had a coach come out and say that to me on a mound visit, id run thru a wall for them my entire life.
Coach fumbled not taking him out
I need help putting together a video for JJ Vogel and the journey of Ohio to Williamsport
Hi Joseph, how can I help with that video?
@@WheelsYT this is why we support you
Nolan Gavin weir Ryan.
Man South Dakota's Coach really wasted Gavin, he should have been taken out after 50 pitches in that California Game.
I don’t know man. If they had more runs maybe but score was only 1 to 0
No. You play to Win Today. Nothing else matters
@@matthewdriscoll8327 yep this is the right play 100%
with the way california's offense was all tournament it was better to take the win
South Dakota's offense blew. If they had more kids that could hit then it would have never come down to that decision.
Mickey mantle reincarnated…
Lesser competition with no international teams. Still was noteworthy what he did. Why didn't he go against ohio or Hawaii?
hit his pitch limit the game before
Wouldn't play against International competition anyways unless they made the finals, US vs US and International vs International
Same would have happened against any team. It really wasn't fair.
Coach decided to go to the final instead of winning it, had they taken him out at 4.2 innings they probably would have beaten Cali and he would have clobbered Ohio
baseball
His Adams apple is pretty apparent now. Lol. Most kids under 12 dont have one of those. Part of it is his body type.
South Dakota totally messed up not putting him in the game to at least get them in the championship. I didn't agree with that. The kid is gonna be a ⭐ if he stays committed
You got to win the one your playing first.
@@craigturbyfield1438 that’s the reason they lost the chip they would have beat Cali either way
Wonder how he’d do at his actual distance🧐
Hope he doesnt end up like a hollywood teen actor
Can someone check this kids glove I saw a lot of shine coming off that thing
He’s good but the Umps are worse
Swing the bat that’s all I have to say
What a terrible decision to keep him in for the last 4 outs. Probably would've won anyway with a different pitcher and had him for the championship game
Great performance but I worry because those nasty curve balls cannot be good for his arm. However, I do understand what this event calls for. He may want to tone it down during the season and take care of his arm.
He will be burned out by the time he finishes high school with all the stress he has put on that arm as a pre-teen.
Not much stress at all. He has very consistent mechanics or muscle memory and put very little effort in his pitches he will be just fine.
Idk how they don’t hit off him he’s not that good
Poor kid had a terrible team
Man will blow his arm in about a year I feel so bad for him even if he is great
The umps at the llws are always trash
TERRIBLE umping at home plate.
