Recently subscribed. Looooove your work. I will be starting my sons locs in January using the 2 strand method. I don’t want to do micro locs. I’m thinking this size or just a touch smaller. For this size do you only recommend using the palm roll method or is the inter locing method hood too.
Awww thank you 💕🥰. & you can do either or. With traditional locs I prefer palm rolling, but interlocking is good to, with this size the 2 point rotation would be perfect.

Was there a reason you chose traditional locs for one daughter vs. microlocs for your other daughter? I’m interested in locing but can’t didn’t traditional vs microlocs.
Hiii 💕 thanks for this comment! So both of my daughters started with traditional locs, but they have different hair textures. My daughter with traditional locs has THICK 3c hair and traditional just fits her hair type. When she had Microlocs she had wayyy to many so we converted to traditional. My other daughter with the newly microlocs has fine 4A/4B hair and her locs weren’t full looking, & she didn’t have much confidence about it, she missed her microlocs. This is her second set and she has a wayyy fuller look now, even with finer hair. So whichever you decide depends on your hair type and how you would like your locs to look on YOU. Both are gorgeous either wayyy but I hope this helps ✨💗

Nooo I didn’t combine at all. Her hair is just sooo thick 😭 the parts may have looked smaller before because I braided the roots. & thank you 💕🫶🏽
When you started their locs how did you prevent the twist from raveling?

Yes but the ends are dyed with HICOLOR (no bleach) from a couple years ago
