Excelencia was founded in 1998 and employs about 3,000 people. Production includes all kind of pork products. Over 100 tons are produced a day. The products are supplied to the retail chains all over Brazil.
For packaging of cooked ham the meat is automatically filled into the thermoformed cavities. The preprinted top webs are sealed to the packs before they get inserted in moulds for further processing.
