Like Sony said you should have tried to go out of combat and drink after each fear. This is how to win this match-up I think

I’m really disappointed in how I played in this tournament. Not having Necrotic Wand and Wand Spec vs Soda also made me very sad. Wanted to upload it anyways, but I need to get better. Can’t wait for the next tournament at level 40.
dude sony told u 2 pre pain and drink.. soda could only counter with also drinking but if u do it well u would always reg more mana.. i cant tell u as a priest main that u have to do that against alot of hybrids so listen to what ur boy is telling u
@@Vilgan22 He says at 15:59 that it should be played like he played it, but I see soooooo many errors. That barely 70% uptime on pain with no silence or VE. Also precast manaburn when he's healing... also timing his fears until he heals, not just using them randomly when he's close.
What I'm talking about is this: 10:59. You pop plague AND get a blackout. Fear is up but you just spam wand. Go after him and fear the heal, mindblast and flay it would be over :D
10:43 was really good, though.
question: why not try to mind blast the second you fear them? just curious about the only wanding,
one more thing: why not use devouring plague when its up? itll only give extra dmg right?

Hey. Why do you never use Shield/Renew when fearing and being at ~70% health?
@@Vilgan22 my guess for that is that it's very mana demanding, and might break the fear.
Why arent you using renew more? shouldnt that always be up under 80% health?
My tactics was as SP allways be offensive. The only class i would use a longer time against, was maby resto druids and warlocks, the rest you just dmg down
with fear and silence.
The only time you regen mana in a fight, is when the other guy is dead and you are tapping their spirit:P
Drinking/bandage/pots and cds over 3min is basically pretty weak in duels, this was unwritten rules on my server.
I cant wait for classic! This is really bringing back old memories from outside of Ironforge.

Have you got any tips on how to best wand against melee? I always have the problem of them just running through me and you seemed to manage pretty well!
Tilt your camera so you're looking at the fight top down, really helps.
why not mindflay or mindblast? in the beginning when sony tells you not to?
Because I don't need to in order to win. It's better for me to play fear cd and just wand/sw:p

You said it but basically need to keep shield / renew up more, and use fear to pressure more than go on the defensive, basically every druid duel you could have feared and ended but used it to heal yourself instead.
Shouldnt u nade when he heals and then mby burst down with mind blast? Sick videos, new fan, keep it up
What happened in the first fight when you cast Plague? Was it resisted? You cast it and then not even half a second later Savix vanished, the cd was triggered but the spell never applied.
Also I know this is only level 30 PvP so you can't even get Shadowform, and Priests are mana gimped at this level for sure, but this just reminds me of how much I NEED Shadowguard. Later on you can get 4 max rank Shadowguards (for a total of 12 charges) for the same mana cost as 1 plague. That's 12 chances to proc a Blackout from any source of damage, while also doing more damage than a Plague would (sans the healing component of course). Just my preferred race/playstyle. Sub'd here and followed on twitch, keep it up!
Melekith135 Melekith135 Yeah plague is a neat ability and I can see why people go undead for it. But I personally prefer shadowguard too, gives you more survivability. I like being able to have that extra blackout on a pvp server and melee protection. Hex is neat too since you can do rank 1’s to get the 20%

I don't know.. I find the wand style really interesting. Must be so hard to time and maximuse your abilities within the 5 second rule.

Wanted to play shadow in Classic... but he is so boring in pvp :/ no dmg
Its lv 30 pvp. He couldnt afford to use mindflay or mindblast his most damaging abilities cause he would go oom to fast during the duel so he had no choice but to dot and out sustain. The pvp is quite different at 60.
@@animebrigade2874 ok i hope so :) wanted to play Shadow for long time, but this duel rly shocked me. Every class makes so much more dmg :/

@@tschackomo8484 i'm also confiused, i know that will be huge difference at lvl 60 but i dont think so i can handle whole lvling without pvp bacause i will go oom in 30 sec. What about affi lock?
