Just to be clear, we are donating 100% of the profits from the anxiety shirt to a mental health charity! Cheers & papa bless to all of our fupa trupas.
I feel donation shaming approaching.
This is a good thing. I like the shirt 💖
It's alright, the people who are mad don't know what it's like to suffer from anxiety

people without anxiety get offended. people with anxiety are like 'YESSSSS"
Exactly. I have experienced chronic anxiety for most of my life. At one point, I was stressed to a degree where I was incapable of eating or sleeping for three days. It is very damaging for people to become offended on our behalf because it makes us look unreasonable and sensitive.
Tou just described everything wrong with the "getting offended" culture.
So true and people with clinical depression can relate, too.
💯💯💯
facts! Sadly they don't have that sweater on their website anymore.
I'm a licenced mental health professional, personally struggle with GAD, and specifically work with teens who struggle with GAD, Depression, and eating disorders. When I first saw this shirt I immediately wanted it. The concept, message, and chance for conversation is brilliant. Mental health doesn't always need to be a Ridgid, scary, or an overly serious topic. It can be discussed/depicted through art, personal interpretation, or even humor, while still be tastefully respectful. I appreciate your efforts and look forward to getting one. I'll even wear it at my office 🤷🏻♀️
I have ASD, Clinical Anxiety, SPD, OCD, and Depression. The shirt is awesome and people need to stop taking everything so seriously. Life’s too short to be so upset. The more awareness brought to anxiety and other conditions the better.
I have anxiety and depression as well. I couldn't even imagine being offended by a shirt to be honest. People with mental health issues have much more serious shit to deal with.

As someone with crippling anxiety , I loved feeling included. It’s also a very nice reminder for people that you are dealing with something. And not in an in your face way. A sweet teddy bear and rain clouds way.
I don’t find the shirt offensive, but like Ian I would have definitely seen the backlash coming. I do applaud Ethan for making something he cared about, he seemed real bummed people took it differently to how he intended.

The long lost sound bite 15:38
In Sweden absolutely NO ONE tips because we expect the companies to pay enough. And i believe it would be incredibly illegal to have people rely on tips.
You’re right, I wish my government saw it that way
I'm moving to Sweden. America is overrated.
yea servers are just slaves bc they are paid little and no reliable living income so.
In America there's even some people that are only paid in tips 🤦🏾♀️
We do tip. 10% is pretty standard but not expected.
As someone else who literally has crippling anxiety, I'm not offended in the slightest by that design, and I think it's cute. Some people just need to STFU. I'm sure if someone they liked came out with this, they wouldn't have a problem with it. The majority of people that get ridiculously upset over something like this, and speak out against it, only do so when it's concerning someone they don't like. For example, someone like Onision, who's mostly disliked by everyone, would get hate for something that someone popular would not only get away with it, but also get tons of support
Also, just because I can relate to the whole anxiety thing, I know I don't speak for everyone with it. So for the people that are genuinely offended by this, just don't buy it.. or don't look at it lol just because you don't like something, doesn't mean it should be taken away from the people that do
Totally agree love the shirt
The shirt conveys the idea that it's cute or trendy to have anxiety. Anxiety isn't a condition you should associate with cute or trendy. Even if it's not communicated blatantly, its communicated subconsciously. That's the reality of it.
In addition, I doubt anyone was actually super offended and outraged. It was probably just criticism from people who were concered. Which are obviously not the same thing.
Not how it works kiddo
Bro stop shaming people for feeling the way they do. Some people can't handle anything reminding them of that headspace. They should allow the sale of the shirt for people that want it, but telling people to STFU is so shortsighted dude. Have compassion for people going through the same thing as you, you know how awful anxiety can be.
Cancel culture at it's finest.....
I Love when Hila is dying laughing. Nothing better. She's a gem.
I was just commented the same thing, her dying laughing during the Ellen name goof had me laughing along with her at the absurdity of it 😂 ethan is trying to push on with a joke that has no basis because he name's different and she's just like "how do we fuck the simplest shit up?". I know this is a bit of an old podcast but I just wanted to let you know, Ethan, that I absolutely loved your design for the shirt. As a person who also suffers from anxiety and did so in silence for the majority of it, I was so excited when I saw anxiety as a mental illness being made public in the form of your design, I felt a sort of relief? Both because of the illness being represented and visible for people suffering from anxiety who don’t even know they have it yet, as well as being somewhat normalized? Representing the illness in the artistic way you did made me feel as though my anxiety wasn’t something I should be embarrassed or shy about. Genuinely, thank you for the design. I was affected by your artwork in such a positive, beneficial way

Never change for naysayers. They will always just find something else to complain about even if you do bend to their will.
Edit: Go ahead and hate me for this last opinion too but c'mon Hila. Why would you change the shirt just because people are misinterpreting it?
People can't appreciate dark humor. Dark humor is literally an underground genre thanks to everyone being too sheltered to understand how dark reality can get, yet laughing at dark stuff is something that gives me great joy.
Mostly all my fav movies, manga, animation, etc, have that shocking element, and it makes life fulfilling to me.

Those who complain about the shirt is keeping mental illness taboo. The less you all gatekeep mental illness, the more we all talk about it and recognize more...
Honestly buying a cute shirt to be quirky about how you have anxiety isn't pro-mental illness. Makes you look like a clown who wants to have a problem so you can relate with everyone else. We can be open about having anxiety without using it as a fashion accessory and slinging it around as if it's the new trend that depression used to be. I'm not even saying it's in poor taste to make jokes about having anxiety, but once it starts showing up on shirts and merchandise that you have to buy it just seems so much less genuine.
@@kiteofdark why not own it? It doesn't mean you aren't working to better yourself but don't feel bad about having it. Accepting and owning it seems fine to me
@@kiteofdark I mean, as someone with mdd and gad I definitely do care what people think, but I shouldn't have to. People doing what they've got to do to get out of bed in the morning, and there are far worse ways to do that than wearing a t shirt.
@@kiteofdark yea becomes people want anxiety. and if i see someone with the shirt i wont feel alone. which anyone with anxiety knows that is the worst part when your suffering. if you dont like it dont wear it. keep your illness hidden and remain alone. thats your choice , but taking away someone elses choice to wear what they want is wrong . you cant speak for everyone. and noone is asking you to. i would rather a world with choices then a world were a few people use there opinion to minimize the choices we are allowed. they have shirts about biopolar, shirts about pms, so why cant i have a shirt that opens a dialog about my illness in a fun cute way, and shows people that im not fragile , and i can still have fun . i promise you if someone wears this shirt, anxiety wont increase in the world, and probably wont decrease. but people like you who try and speak for everyone. now that increases anxiety. so who is the one really doing damage to the cause?

I definitely would say Ellen is one of those people known solely by her first name 😂 give Ethan some credit
As someone with anxiety who has to take a zoloft everyday, I don’t find it offensive at all, its just a shirt.
Unpopular opinion, warning!
I think the comments section on the whole Teddy Fresh thing missed the point. I think Ethan should have made the T-shirt more to what he meant , instead of "I have crippling anxiety" it sounds like a meme. Of course people who don't know his past won't know what he meant because they don't follow him or have seen the video on it. He shouldn't assume everyone has. Neither should you. You guys are quick to attack people for their unpopular opinions before realizing what your even saying. Your no better than the people who were the so called "haters". That my friend is extremely hypocritical. I like Ethan's videos but I don't worship him. Edit: Also those people probably didn't watch this video either. He should've just posted it on his Instagram account. No everyone is edgy teens pretending to have a mental illness. I understand what they mean.
As someone who also has crippling anxiety (I have a hair pulling disorder that has been diagnosed since I was 5yo), I love this shirt design and thought it was a really cute idea. I think it normalizes having anxiety by being able to share it in this way. Also the design is hella cute and reminds me of when I was a kid, having a good day splashing in the rain despite it all.
All of teddy fresh's designs are like that, love Hila & the crew over at Teddy Fresh! They make such cute clothes designs and are very high quality. The hoodies are so soft and warm when I bought one I had to buy one for everyone else I love... I really love Hila's company so much!
Thimble Fox for real the hoodies are really nice

Do you have Trichotillomania? My little sister was diagnosed with that. I can't even imagine how hard having something like that must feel :c
Yeah the bear reminds me of this cartoon bear I used to watch as a kid, he wore a yellow raincoat and red hat sometimes.
They have really great clothes, my bf bought me a hoodie and I wear it often. Honestly $80 is midrange for a good hoodie- it’s less than you would pay at Macy’s, it’s worth it. Their beanies are cool too from what my bf says- my hair is too curly for me to even try.
I know someone who developed Trichotillomania when she started developing signs of Schizo Effective Capgras Syndrome, so she buzzed her hair short and eventually started wearing wigs. Not that you should do that- I know you would still go for your eyelashes, eyebrows- everything- she still does, and it’s really hard to even imagine going through that. Have you tried CBT? It’s better than the “how does that make you feel,” crap. It helped me work through some really traumatic things that have affected me my whole life, then I started doing DBT for major depression. It’s unsolicited advice so you don’t have to follow up, it’s just something to consider.
I have anxiety disorders. Gone to the ER many times thinking that I was actually dying when in reality it was just panic attacks. Had EKG’s done and everything. And I love this shirt.

Smooth shiftin' brother
i want it more
I want it the mostest. ^
If you would have put “Crippling Happiness” people still would have been offended
No bc that’s not an actual thing that people suffer with everyday of their life. But they understand why that was seen as insensitive and apologized, so that’s good.
Lolll So true. I almost wish I was privileged enough to be offended by this shirt! I say almost because I'd crumble the moment something ACTUALLY upsetting happened 🙈
For real
@@naomibrown6825 yeah, they would, because they'd say that it's making fun of crippling anxiety.
Trisha Miller it’s his disorder y’all are being insensitive to Ethan. Poor dude suffers from anxiety and ppl cyber bully out of virtue signaling.
Ben's take on hip hop is cringe af
I just started watching this podcast, I’ve never seen any of their merch but when I saw that sweatshirt, I immediately wanted to go buy it. I have horrible anxiety and I think that sweatshirt is just a cool way to poke fun at yourself
i understand the criticism of the shirt, however, i wish people weren’t so quick to say it’s offensive. the way you guys explained it, i completely understand your point and think you guys should be able to sell those shirts and not get backlash. i found your explanation very genuine and makes sense.
It's not that it's directly offensive, but people are absolutely right to say it's romanticising mental illness. It is.
@@oldgreg517 You can literally reach and say that about anything though. So its a slippery slope Old Greg.
47:00 Hila breaking down in tears from so much laughter is a rare but incredible wholesome moment.
Hila tryna prevent a political argument is literally everything. Love you!
I can't believe people got upset over the shirt. That's ridiculous to me. I know what it's like to deal with anxiety this shirt isn't offense at all. I actually like it people get mad over the craziest things.
Ethan, for every 1 person that hates on the design, 10 people like it and don't say anything because they are busy living their lives.
Probably very accurate i would think
Precisely
People who shat on the shirt are the people who get sad for a week and think they're depressed. Then become SJW for depression.
I’d say 100 or more like it. I’m not sure of the ratio or comments on the post, but 1 out of 10 sounds way to low.
Yes, this is the case with a lot of negative feedback online unfortunately.
next shirt could say: "when did this turn into beautifull world"
Instant cop for me 100%
agree
Put all the best sound bites of the year one shirt!!!
@@AB-py6jl that would be pretty sick!
A B a sound byte series would be doper with like 5 dif shirts
I’ve never seen hila laugh so hard. Her laugh is adorable
these episodes are getting better and better, good chats and just hanging out for some laughs
You have to sound bite Hila at the start saying 'I'm not apologising for anything' hahahaha
Walker okay but Ethan deserved that shit, he wasn’t making a good point at all
Now that’s a good shirt quote
As someone who has the shirt, I’ll develop general anxiety disorder
and itll always be raining
That’s not funny. I have anxiety and suffer from panic attacks. “ I’ll develop general anxiety disorder” just bc you have the shirt is an ignorant thing to say. Who do I even read the comments? It’s filled with kids. Smh
🤣
@@yanerd5626 it's just a play on words.... Jeeeez
Yanerd so do I, I’m not butthurt over a joke or shirt man. The shirts fucking funny.
It's my favorite shirt, people complain how often I wear it. It makes me feel more comfortable going out and opens a dialogue with others who ask about it.
I have been diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety and I really love the concept.
