That's not true here in The Netherlands Me and My mom go to Ralph hair salon and there you literally have 4 people working on you hair and it's best rated of the country. It's expensive but Ralph really creates masterpieces.

Actually it is a gift to humanity that the man is willing to do tutorials. He is by far an artist in his line of work and most hair stylist don't even want to share any secrets just so you will keep coming back to them for "their" hair style. This guy is truly a giver in this way that he allows all information pertaining to his work so the client that can't afford a stylist can have the ability to achieve his look. You couldn't ask for a more sincere genuine person that allows that information out. And that is why Guy Tang is my hero, because he is a giver and not only that - he is a true legend in the art of the hair industry. To give someone a feeling through accessorizing their beauty is truly a unique gift and this man should teach these attributes to others. How to give selflessly. Thank you Guy for your thought of others. One word...Humble.

You need a new stylist. I refused to get my haircut in USA with everyone I trust booked. Came back to Seoul, KR to my stylist, YuJin. He was so touched, given he knows we're both in the beauty industry and I am always keeping him informed of newest findings. We have been close for years, and I trusted him once I saw his skill with my late husband's hair/beard with SPECIFIC look in mind. He is WONDERFUL. No proper stylist or MUA should EVER make you anxious. If so, RUN. Do not let them touch you. PERIOD. I trusted one other person inbetween bc I was impatient, on a day YuJin's salon was closed. The result? A trim went to a cut that was COMPLETELY hacked and uneven. Yes, any snipping is a cut. I knew he'd have to cut it shorter than I preferred. However, when your stylist takes ONE look at you, tilts head to right, perplexed, and said, "It's Uneven!": You know you are in good hands. I was at the reception desk. Clearly, Anxiety is NOT supposed to be induced when entrusting someone with your MANE or your Health! Because Image IS Health

They exist, they may not be able to articulate their process as well as Guy Tang does, but they are out there. Only problems I find is that skilled colorists are expensive and they are hard to get an appointment with at times. Hopefully you find a colorist who can give you the hair you want. :)

Limelight_zach CB yep! I’ve also had that happen numerous times. There’s a joke about the hairdressers inch! It seems to be a common complaint, especially for curly haired people. Sometimes they forget to take the snap-back of the curl into consideration when cutting, so it can be significantly shorter when finished.

Am I the only one who absolutely loves Asians? Just their face structure is so pretty and their eyes are always so gorgeous. Their skin is such a warm cozy color and is usually very smooth.

When my parents were married they went to Japan twice because of my dad's job. They even hosted a Japanese exchange student in the early 80s. She was so sweet! 💜
My mom was so fascinated by their culture and she still makes vegetarian Japanese dishes. I very, very much miss her soups since she and her wife, my Mommacita, moved out of state. Although, I still have my itty bitty kimono they, my mom and dad brought back from Japan in the early 80s lol
And, my older son wanted to go to college in Japan. He was learning Japanese in high school and self teaching while working after graduating. Unfortunately he posed away suddenly from Addison's Disease in March 2016 at 19, almost 20. My younger son and I chose a Japanese cherry blossom tree for the front picture of the program of his memorial. And his urn is a dark cherry wood.
He was very much into Japanese culture and adored their country and people.
They really do have the best hair. They can get away with bleaching it and styling it and it won’t be nearly as damaged and fried as us white girls hair. Very lucky!

I was lost in life and fell right down into depression... almost died from it, struggled a LOT and when I started overcoming it I decided to start having classes in L'Oréal Studio and become a Hairdresser. I went through plenty of classes, but I found myself into colouring and you are TRULY an alchemist. Here in Brazil it's pretty hard to obtain some products, but I want to become the first #myIdentity master here in Brazil and I want to thank you for introducing me into what I will live for, Guy. It’s actually a thing that girls change their hair when they break up with a guy... I didn’t realise it at the time, but when my boyfriend and I broke up I cut my hair to above my shoulders, when it had previously been about booby level 😂😂 maybe it’s not necessarily cutting your hair, but definitely changing a part of yourself.
