Keep ‘em coming man, the E36 updates are some of my favorites. Although I’m not big on BMW, I love what you’re doing with it.
The quality of production for your content is absolutely amazing! You really can see the effort you put into every single video. Absolutely loving the channel!
Yes I agree with your final thoughts about the E36 :) I sold mine last year (striking while the iron's hot) and am now living vicariously through your enthusiasm of ownership. Great work !!
Ive never been a massive bmw fan, only because ive grown around skylines, silvias and other jdm styled cars.
But its your love for it that has me coming back. You show your care to what you do and your excitement mixed with an amazing effort to want to help others learn and push forward. Big time follower, and will continue, on any car you do. Keep it up homie!
I love all the builds but the e36 has a special place in my heart. I’ve owned mine since new… a ‘96 model that survived being a dd and track car. Still runs like it did 26 years ago. Maintenance is key…
Thank you for this video. I’ve been quietly waiting for this episode while sitting in a corner waiting for you Mike. All this work one all the projects is insane. And I love your vision
Finally some E36 content. Definitely one of the best E36 here on CZcams. Loving the build, I’m hyped to see what you‘re gonna do to the interior 👍🏼
Always cool to see what you’re working on mike. Keep up the good work.
Looks so good man love the content! Thanks for sharing this upgrade and the process to accomplish it. Thank you also for including the part about re-tapping the threads that is very helpful.
Love the content and the different projects Mike! I learn a lot watching your videos and look forward to each one. Let’s get the E36 running! BBK is seriously cool!
I have been watching since the first episode of the Ferrari and truthfully before that. The delivery of the content is great and breaking it up keeps it fresh. This episode was very timely for me as I have an e36 92 325i that we track and this is exactly the upgrade I was looking for. Looking forward to seeing how you like them when you get to use them.
Love the fact that you mix things up a bit. Keep it coming 👍
Gotta love the E36 updates!
Keep up the good work as always Mike
I remember the video you did on this car back in 2011 with FMU showing off the motor swap and the monoblocks… god that is a lifetime ago! glad it’s still with you
The e36 is coming really nice together. Well done. I really like the wheel and Tyre combo!
Great video. Thanks ! i look forward to seeing the future upgrades
Great content, I love how different each build is.
Keep the E36 videos coming! I have the same set of Porsche 996 Calipers waiting to go on my 1995 LTW Frankenstein E36… Great video!
I definitely resonate with the sentiment for your first ever project car. My e39 was the first car I ever dove into modifying and I'm coming up on 11 years of ownership. After 7 years of gathering dust I finally got the time (and funds) to bring it back to life with a full m5 interior swap and all the other usual e39 mods. More e36 content!!
Glad to hear that! Keep the pedal down!
Love your Content absolutely love the BMW and the work you've already done on it it's going to be one clean ride keep up the good work can't wait to see your other content thank you for having such an awesome Channel !!
I really like that you used a time-sert to repair those shock bolt threads. I was a motorcycle tech for 25 years and that was my go to thread repair. One thing i liked to do was use a lubricant on the install tool and loctite (red) on the outside of the insert just to insure that the insert stays put if the threads corrode a bit. I dig all your builds and can't wait to see how they all turn out.
Fantastic e36 update. Love all the projects. Can’t wait for more videos.
this E36 is stunning! those HRE's are epic on this car, can't wait to see the interior
Thats a really nice brake set up works really well with the rims👌 looking forward to seeing this e36 roll out the garage🤘
Such a sick car. Really like how the spoiler just finishes off the look nicely.
Ferrari videos are nice to watch and in general I really appreciate how much you put in the effort in front of the construction and put in your best efforts. I personally own an e36 for the second time now and it’s awesome to see what ideas and implementations you’re doing for this, I’d like to see more of these videos in the future 😍🙏🙏 the channel I’ve watched since the next episodes of Ferrari videos
Great stuff. Love seeing the BMW come back to life. Keep it up and get that baby back on the road! 😁
Duuude ive been looking for a bigbrake setup this is PERFECT
Keep the content coming I like the no bullshit way you present it none of the fake drama you get with more well known shows.
Thank for the tips this really inspired me to do this upgrade myself on my e46 since I’m a big fan of extra stopping power
Love your work on E36, keep up the good work mate, believe it or not, it's good rehab for me, ill beat the cancer, then I'll need a project to do. All the best.
Probably my FAVORITE mod on any car... Big Brakes!!! Great job!
that car is FIRE!!!!!! I really enjoy all your stuff
I love following this build and details that you have shared with all the E36 community. An alternative "low cost" Brembo upgrade, would be to install front Brembos from Renault Megane RS (a rebuild & painted set can come in at 350-400$, from Europe ofc). They fit the "cheaper" 325x28 brake rotors from an E46 M3 and even the lower spec 325x25 from 330i. Where as the rear can be upgraded again from an E46 330i, with 320x20 rear rotors and adapters for handbrake functionality. Slap in an M3 3.0 (EURO) master cylinder with a M12/M10 adapter for better brake feel.
seeing you build this out is great. reminds me of watching tommys slicctop build. keep up the great work!
Cannot express enough how awesome this is to see, finally an cost effective big brake upgrade!
I wonder if these fit S14's, because if so, I am very much inclined to spend some money on new brakes.
Will do some research, but till then, cheers for this invaluable info Mike!
Dude, you the best. Nothing but the best wishes
Love the variation man! Keep it up
That thing is just beautiful. Nice work.
Wow never did I expect to see SpasticDwarf making his E36 into cookie cutter E36 we've had since circa 2011. Welcome to the club.
Thanks for putting the list together and part numbers that's a big help to some people I'm sure.
Idk how you just glossed over the hole machining of the calipers.. that's a big deal. And no mention of master cylinder or break biased. 🤔
Always great content!
I did this setup on my last e46 m3 back in 2015. Definitely gives the car that sporty look and the brake performance is better. Overall still a great kit for the money even 7 years later.
Did you have to modify the master cylinder or any other components? Thanks
@@danielwade9930 I did not. I used the factory components. I upgraded to stainless brake lines, Porsche brembo calipers, new brake pads, and competition package m3 rotors. You will need the caliper brackets for mounting. I sourced mine from a forum member on the old m3forum.
Love the dedication to the car!
Love the progress, shop is looking great.... imagine when all three of those project cars are running and in a relative state of completion? that will be a great photoshoot day.
As an E36 M3 owner, I love the content. Also enjoy the Ferrari too, but always like seeing some progress on this car too.
i think this is a solid solid bang for the buck upgrade. totally agree mike. great video !
We Love the BMW content Mike! Keep'er coming!
This car makes me follow you youtube chanel, and instagram longtime ago… I really loved the sound of the intake, matching the look of the car. The short movie was awesome too !
Can’t wait to watch it back on the road 👌
Wish I’d known about this years ago, I had an E36 328i track car and even with E46 330i brakes, it was woefully underbraked. Excellent video as usual 👍
Honestly man, I'm here for the Ferrari build (because it's rad). The longer I watch your content, the more I'm super impressed. Every build you're working on is top notch and it's a pleasure to tune in. By the end of this video, I had already clicked the like button and tried to click it again only to find...it was already done. So...I'm leaving another like in the comments! *LIKE*
Love the BMW content! Smash out a solid weekend assembling the exterior, and take her for a drive!! Gotta have at least one drivable vehicle in the fleet!
I remember seeing this for the 1st time on AWOL tv back in the day.. It was sooo Clean!
Dude, I remember reading about Rusty in Roundel, feeling sad when your garage caught fire and stoked to see v2.0. As a lifelong BMW owner I’ll never hate on some E36 content. Keep it coming man
It looks great Mike. I have the same 911 calipers on my e36 painted in Miami blue, but I’m using the Brembo branded calipers (not budget friendly). Thanks for making this video, I didn’t realize there were more economical rotor options. However, thankfully I get a lot of track use out of the rotors, so the cost doesn’t come up often.
pretty nice choice, i too installed a big brake kit on my ford focus, but i made the braket as there is no adaptar on the market for the focus mk1; great video Mike, keep up the good content
edit: i forgot to mention, i used cadillac cts-v callipers for my focus mk1, as well as we've done macan calipers for the mk1 golf, only hard thing is cnc machining the adapter but usually there will walways be bigger rotors for almost all lug patterns taken from other cars, the focus mk1 took the rotors from the '94 mustang gt
Nice e36 bro. I did not know you had it before Rusty. Keep your videos coming
Thanks for your video, you are showing everything really well, I love your channel, this one is a good option for e36 / e46, we have this option and many options more, 4 pots and 6 pots.
Yes, more e36 content please. Love the channel Mike. Keep up the great work!
The reason I subscribe on your channel was because of the E36 build. Love it when there is updates about the E36. The Ferrari it’s an awesome build as well! 👏👍 following along…..
You've got a great aesthetic eye Mike, the yellow calipers look really great - and overall a very worthwhile upgrade ;-)
Nice to see the center caps placed properly. IYKYK.
Definitely yes to more of your cool e36 build. Would love to see that on the road.
New subscriber, very informative video!!!
That looks great brother expensive but awesome keep 'em coming
Damn Mike! Those calipers look dope in yellow! I'm always down for a money saving workaround!? Nice work!
Dope! Looking to add a big brake kit to my S30
Yo, your BMW is a really clean build so far. The other two cars might be at the extremes, but still cool as heck to be watched being put together.
The wheel and tire combo .. ON POINT ... add in the brake upgrade??? #Mint !!
Great content!!!
That’s awesome, thanks buddy.😎😎😎
Such a great video! Thanks for your wisdom! Did you have to upgrade the brake lines and master cylinder too ?
I have just had completed nearly the same style setup on my mk8 civic.
The kit converts the Renault megane rs brembo 4 pot calipers with a floating 345 disc. They look the nuts and feel great. With the rears having the handbrake built in to the calliper I’m a bit stuck right now to upgrade them.
As ever loving your work
I love e36's great job so far!
Wheels definitely look sick. I ended up ditching the porshe bbk on my car as I wasn't a huge fan of how they performed but they sure do look good.
YES on more E36 content!
Man, getting a BBK for $1k would be ludicrously good. Hopefully this video helps a ton of E36/E46 owners out.
My vote always is that you work on what you want to, as I've always found personally that maintaining motivation is what's important!
Might do this to my e46, thanks man!!
Keep that beautiful e36 content coming!!
Go all in on the E36!! Wanna see it on the road!!
Dead keen to see you thrash the E36 and get it on the road. I need the same motivation too
YESS e36 content!
Thanks Mike!
Can’t thank you enough for your helpful video on this upgrade. I did the exact same after watching this video. Then only problem I run into is the parking brake although I max out the adjuster both on the brake shoes and the actual handle but still not grabbing. Hoping you will have an update soon to show how to make this work. Appreciate it
MORE E36 CONTENT! Really whatever you feel working on/have parts for is great. I’m a little biased with the E36 but always great to see you having a great time on a project.
good job man 💪
Top brakes for low costs. Good job. 👍
Looks sick.
Can’t wait to see this thing ripping again.
Hell I remember the AWOL episode showcasing the finished S54 swap. “The funny trumpet looking things...”
Awesome work man!
Get the e36 running 💪. Recently started my own rear subframe refresh. S54 should give you a nice smile when you stab the gas pedal again in a long time 💪
I wish we could get our parts as easily as its done in the US of A.. in South Africa its another story. Love your shop, all you do and the projects are amazing. Sign me up for the next update!
This car is so clean
The car that defines StanceWorks for me
Still loving this build. I just got 135i brembos for my e36 and added e36 M3 rear trailing arms and brakes. It should handle it.
Lovely car dude
Great job!
Love those brakes. Like the cheap version too. Get it on the road!
Working on a few cars concurrently is difficult for viewers to grasp, but it can be great to focus on another project for a while to clear your head and come back fresh.
Almost 100k subscribers! 👍
