So glad you're going to post the intros, I had all Empire characters maxed before I quit the game, and I really wanted to see their stories continue. I'm glad you're playing this and putting these videos out, as otherwise I'd never see them because I won't be returning to SWTOR unless they do some massive overhauling. :-(

I'm a 55 Sith Jugg. I just got into Makeb and after seeing this video I just want to play this game more and more and more. I'm glad I'm a subscriber to this game and get full contents.
(P.S that end tho. That ending scene just gave me the shivers of both awesomness and epicness)

Emperor palpatine had the same powers as the emperor so bioware might explore that area and explain it a little bit

Unfortunetly, the Emperor being alive is a confirmed fact. The Emperor's been reaching out through his "children." Even Kira tells you that she still feels a connection to the Emperor after his supposed "death."

How did you defeat the first Isotope droid? I never made it past that with my Imp side . After watching this I think the Imp side was far more challenging than the Republic one. Fascinating.

Yep and it leave things open for Bioware to do some giant return of a (non-restrained) Emperor. The timeline is vague, so they can do whatever they want with him, or a return of Revan, or crazy new stuff, as long as it makes clear that the war will end sometime, the Republic endures, and the Empire might fall but return twice (and more) also. It's a bit hole in SW history to fill, and the Emperor is probably not done yet :)

Kira, Scourge and the Hand all confirm he is alive.
The precise term the Hand used is "slumber" which probably means he is in coma or recuperating.
Lord Malgus, Bioware has had it like that in most of their games!
In the Old Republic I would Presume the Sith Empire here is much more stronger then it is right now in the current saga.
There are thousands of Sith in the Old Republic Era. These Sith also know more into the Ancient Dark Arts and such
1. The "go to Makeb" scene for the Barsen'thor is my personal favourite for 'pub side, it is very fitting for a jedi master of his stature.
2. As for your Kallig's traverse through Makeb's story... Is it me, or does the male inquisitor voice sound different? It does not sound the same to my ears.
3. I killed everyone still on Makeb at Szajin the Archon's confrontation. You are supposed to keep Makeb's stability a secret. (Plus I am a bad, bad man...)

Sorry to clarify:
1)KOTOR takes place after Mandelorian Wars, and leads into the Jedi Civil War (KOTOR1), which leads to a Jedi Purge (KOTOR2).
2)SWTOR takes place after the Great Galactic War, in the Cold War leading into the Galactic War.
Kyayt is wayyy outside of this time period, afaik.
This game takes place in the 'truce' after the Great Galactic War. After the Great Hyperspace War, the Sith were defeated, but they returned for KOTOR+KOTORII and that lead to the Great Galactic War.
Now, the Truce of Coruscant is fracturing and we're heaving into the outright Galactic War, the longest and bloodiest time of the galaxy.
It does, but you can turn off the visualization.
I think the better question is WTF was FluffyNinjaLlama doing BEFORE this Hutt Cartel thing? Was he trying to summon Cthulu or something?

Actually he's right. Hall Hood. The Lead Writer of TOR and the main person who wrote the Jedi Knight's story confirmed that the Knight destroys the Emperor's body. however he also said that his spirit remains very much alive.

So basically no one wins! And Bioware is allowed to just spend the whole game having each side chip away at each other, while our Class-Characters explore the galaxy and maybe learn some new secrets about it. Heck, they could even do nice foreshadowing of the New Sith Empire, the Fall of the Republic, and Rise of the Empire, and Galactic Civil War (basically the movies), etc.

The Emperor is hugely important for the METAPLOT of the game. Almost everything that happened in the backstory can be traced to him. Most notably, he is the instigator of the war, the ruler of the Empire and the most powerful Force-user of the time. So yes, he matters.

The Emperor is alive - at least three sources confirm that.
About your Inquisitor becoming the next emperor... nah. From the "Annihilation" novel: the ruling triumvirate is Marr-Mortis-Vowrawn. The Inquisitor doesn't have any real influence yet (makes sense, considering that she just got appointed). Problem is, neither Marr, nor Vowrawn want to actually rule, so the role may fall to Mortis, who is the most amoral, opportunistic bastard on the Council.

So now they have 100+ years they can cover with whatever they want! Of course, it has to fit our characters' lifespans (I suppose 40+ years worth).
There's some lore they have to hit as they progress, but otherwise, Bioware is pretty free to do what they want, as long as they fit it in with:
1)The New Sith Empire appearing
2)The (Old) Republic persisting
What they'll likely to with the Sith is have them 'lose' but not be destroyed. Same with Republic - have them 'win' but be hugely weakened.
The cutscenes are the same, but some of the dialogues are different.

The Sith Emperor is not dead! The body the Jedi Knight kills is the Voice. The essence of the true Emperor left the Voice's body, but has been gravely injured and fell into a deep slumber to recuperate.
The Empire strikes back is coming! >:)

The empire can't die because the body they killed wasn't even his. Think of him like how obi-wan kenobi was. He is one with the force but can take over bodies, the Emperor is currently getting ready to take over his new body. At one point you actually kill the emperor during the marauder story line.

Thinking about how the emperor is now dead, wouldn't it be awesome if Bioware made the sith inquisitor class the emperor somehow.....that would be EPIC
We don't know who and how will win. For all we know the Empire may win and assimilate the Republic - it will explain why the Republic nobility in the movies is using Imperial accents and imagery. All we know is that the TOR Empire falls somewhere between 3600 BBY and 2000 BBY, when Darth Ruin unites the scattered Sith clans (presumably left by the TOR Empire) and establishes his own regime.

There was, at one point, a Sith NPC with exactly that kind of problem - he wants to marry for love, but his family desires a dynastic marriage in order to strenghten the bloodline politically. Unfortunately, the quest was scrapped.

For those that are arguing over if the emperor is alive or not. The answer is yes and no. according to Hall Hood, the lead writer of the game and the main author of the Jedi Knight story, the Jedi Knight destroys the body of the Emperor in ch 3 of the Knight's story. However he also mentions that the emperor may not fully gone. Since that was not his first body, and that his spirit still remains.

It actually makes a lot of sense. Remember that the Sith are all about embracing your passions and using emotions to become more powerful. If being gay causes a Sith to become a better fighter, then why not?
If being gay is socially unacceptable in the Empire (you are suppose to reproduce in order to make more future soldiers in a society that is engage in total war), then it is even better, since in addition to lust, that Sith is now also empowered by frustration and angry as well.
The downside is that regardless of the New Sith Empire canon, we already know (due to the prequel movies) that the Republic wins over it all. The only thing that Empire players could feel better about is that the Sith clearly get to infiltrate it (Darth Sidious and more) and the Jedi also pay the price for becoming more corrupt, and more hardened from the whole series of events. Not quite the nice guys of the Old Republic :)
