    Hi Jo. love your patterns. have you thought about using the butler method for putting zips in? much easier than pinching and hand sewing the corners.

    • @CountryCowDesigns
      @CountryCowDesigns  Před 2 lety +1

      I’ve given the Butler method a couple of tries but I just don’t get on with it 🤷‍♀️ not sure why ☺️ and maybe it will change in the future

    Jo, I am so glad you showed the use of the hump jumper. It makes a world of difference in your stitching. I don’t think sewers utilize this tool enough. Thank you for an excellent video tutorial.

    Jo about reverse stitch, you can instead do reduce to little tiny stitches - it will behave like the reverse stitching and after a few stitches go back to normal size. thank you for the video.

    • @CountryCowDesigns
      @CountryCowDesigns  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey Becky, do you mean you just sew a few tiny stitches at the end of a seam instead of backstitching?

    Another great tutorial, thank you! May I just ask...what type of fabric do you order from Spoonflower for your bags?

    • @CountryCowDesigns
      @CountryCowDesigns  Před 2 lety +1

      I think it was the Twill one. But it was so long ago that I can’t be 100% sure 😆 they sell sample booklets of all their fabrics and they’re really handy for choosing

    If using waxed canvas for the base, do you still recommend decovil light stabilizer? How would you attach it?

    • @CountryCowDesigns
      @CountryCowDesigns  Před rokem

      That can be the hard thick with waxed canvas. Depending on the waxed canvas you have you can glue the decovil on. Best to try a test piece first. Alternatively you can sew the stabiliser on.

    I am actually wondering about the inserts you have in your cube storage directly behind you! Is that for your hardware? Is it IKEA?

    • @CountryCowDesigns
      @CountryCowDesigns  Před 2 lety

      These are from a company in the UK called Lasersmith. You can search for them on Google. They need to be assembled but they’re great.
