Jo, I have been making bags for several years. Your patterns are always well-written and come together with a professional result. Thanks again from Ohio😊
Thank you so much!
Eu também concordo a Kim!
Jo. Realmente, o padrão de qualidade e acabamento dos seus modelos são perfeitos!
Estou criando meus modelos baseados nos seus modelos!!!
Parabéns!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I just finished making this pattern and really loved it! 🥰 thank you for the video help I love when we have this it helps a ton!
Glad it was helpful!
I haven't been excited about any bags until this one. I need to do a gift for one of my daughters friends. Going to get the pattern. The fabric is Cotten Directional Boston Bruins, I've already made 2 pouches for her crochet tools. Going to make a bag for my daughter and myself with other fabric. ❤
I made this yesterday and love it! I’m new to sewing but this pattern and the video were wonderful for following along. Thank you!
Such a great idea turned into a pattern. Definetely something that have not seen around... congratulations Jo and Adam...
Thanks so much!
Thank you Jo. I cannot wait to make some of these.
I LOVE this pattern!!! So clever and so quick! I can't wait to get started making these!!!
Thanks ☺️
Could have doe with this when I was travelling but returned two weeks ago.... a reason to go back!!!!
Sounds like a good plan 😉
Another really great pattern. I will definitely add this to my make list. Such a useful bag too.
That’s very kind 😃
Wow!
What a superb tutorial.
I must commend you on how professional your presentation was.
I have watched a LOT of videos from people giving sewing tutorials and when they fluff around (and say oops and um), it sadly disjoints the flow!!!!!
You did neither of this and it was like watching a TED talk of a Skill Share lesson.
Many thanks, and I wish you every success in your business!!!!!!!
I love this and can't wait to start making them!!! Thank you!
Jo, Thank you very much for this wonderful tutorial. I made two of them and I love them! Such a great and useful bag"""
Adorable! Excellent instructions.

Very nice. I so enjoy Country Cow designs and instructions. 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you! 😊
Got it!!! On cutting chart
What a great pattern! I have some friends traveling this summer so I am going to make them these! ❤
Wonderful!
I am about travel and my store bought cross body is way to bulky - I am stoked to try your pattern!
Love this! I cant wait to make this! Thank you!
Hope you like it!
I just got the pattern and have it prepped. Is waterproof canvas too thick for lining if your exterior is a thin polyester with interfacing? I’m making it out of a sports jersey. I have cotton cut out for the lining but I did consider waterproof canvas.
As long as it’s not a thick waterproof canvas it should be fine
@@CountryCowDesigns Thank you. I might give it a try next time. I think for my first one, I will keep it really thin and work up to a thicker application. Thanks for the response!
Jyst made it❤ such a great pattern. I have done something wrong though because my pocket lining is too far up by the zipper🤔 must try a new one😊😂
I love the lights on the wall. Do you have a resource for them? Enjoyed this pattern.
These are 20watt LED panels lights. There’s quite a few to choose from on Amazon
Had to get this pattern, and I did! Can't wait to make it. I love the cotton fabric used in your tutorial, but can't see it on your website. What is the fabric called/designer name, maybe I could find it elsewhere?? Thanks for always having great patterns.
Hi Jo
Could you pls explain briefly why you don’t topstitch all around the bag - i.e. over the zips. I am thinking it would be neater to topstitch all around, but I know you will have a reason. Thanks.
You can topstitch if you want to. Lots of people of do. I just don’t think it looks very good top stitching over the zip in my opinion.
@@CountryCowDesignsThanks very much for your reply. I thought there may be a technical reason. Ta
Great pattern, what make of scissors are you using please.Xx
❤ really nice pattern, as always !!! Just double checking, are the rectangles included in the pattern, so we can print them? I know you usually include them.
Thanks 😃 Yep. We always include the pattern pieces 😉
Well am I going bonkers I can’t see in the pattern how wide I cut the strap???
I love this so much and just bought the pattern. I have some o rings on the way, but would a 1.5” D ring also work?
I don’t think a 1.5” d-ring would work very well
Okay. Thank you. I’ll cut and prep the pieces and then wait anxiously for my hardware to arrive. 😊
Great pattern and video, I have just got a HD9 so learning curves! What thread do you use for top and bobbin? When you say basting stitch do you have to change the stitch from the main stitch? Are you going to be at the UK stitch festival ? Thanks
Thanks ☺️ I tend to use a longer stitch length for basting as it doesn’t need to be strong.
If you need help with what treads to use I recommend this video we made a little while ago

Love the pattern. Can it be made in waxed canvas?
It will be a little harder to turn out but yes it can 👍🏼
I'd like to use webbing for the O ring connector and the cross body strap. Since the strap slide hardware is 1 inch I assume that would be the size of webbing to use, but I want to make sure that it works at the top of the bottle piece before I start sewing. Should I have any concerns to address?
The pattern is designed to use 1 inch webbing for the main strap
I teally eant to make this❤😊 do you ship the hardware to Denmark??
Can i use wax canvas also for this bag? Thanks for your great and helpful videos and patterns 😊
We ship to Denmark through our Etsy shop.
You can mark this out if waxed canvas but it will be harder than using normal cotton or canvas
Thank you ❤😊
Hello JO, WHAT COULD BE AN ALTERNATIVE FOR THE FAUX LEATHER OR CORK? Could I use quilted cotton or canvas?
The recommendations for fabric are 1:01 in the video 👍🏼
Hi!! I would love to know where you sourced your vinyl? I love the look of the texture🙏🏻❤
It’s Mora Faux leather from Sew Hot in the UK.
@@CountryCowDesigns thank you very much!! 🙏🏻
My mistake🤦🏻♂️. We usually get our vinyl from Sew Hot but this particular colour came from Serial Bag Makers in Belgium.
Jo, I have a question. My stepdad just passed and I was thinking about make this bag for siblings, grands etc. with some of his ties. What do you think.
To be honest I’ve never tried it. Ties are often made from very thin material so I image you would definitely need to interface the material.
Why wouldn’t you recommend tabs at the zipper ends for less bulk?
It would make the zip opening too small
I don’t have those kind of zippers could I just use a normal zipper sew over the ends as in the video?
