- In this video I show you what it would be like if the gravity on earth were changed to be the gravity on other planets. Watch what happens to as I try to jump cars with different strengths of gravity.

Actually the speedometer with the Pluto gravity was realistic as the car can't get traction, the wheels spin very fast and speedometers are based on wheel spin speed, not actual car speed.
You guys can all try this mostly in manual transmission cars on slippery ice or snow, the speedometer can even show over 200 km/h if you rev your engine and spin your wheels in 5'th gear on snow.

The damage from the earth fall vs the moon fall is similar because it's all a matter of what fraction of your kinetic energy from driving was turned into vertical kinetic energy by the ramp (which is a function of steepness) So you fly 6 times higher with the same energy on the moon, but when you land it's the same as what sent you up, not a function of how far you fell.
Yea, I was hoping it would be more obvious from this video, while some crushing force would be gone. The crash would be similar at the same speed.

Everyone clearly knows that you can't drive a car up to the sun, it will just melt away, you would have to do it at night, preferably in winter where the nights are colder and longer.
Or u can use sun cream on the car
Bad joke
Owen Toad Good joke
Lmao good joke. Also, if you were really driving on the sun, I would think that it would be much worse than just melting 😂 More like being completely vaporiser and radiated by the nuclear explosions lol
Now i'm thinking about something. If they sun constantly gives off light energy. How does the sun restore it's own energy to keep doing this. Wouldn't it be like your apple iphone that uses it's battery then soon needs an outside source of energy again? Since energy can't be created or destroyed. I think i'll need to look this up. Things would fall even faster if there were a setting to adjust the atmospheric density. Falling at either the moon's gravity or Pluto's gravity could still be very fatal if you account for the lack of atmosphere, there being no air resistance to slow the acceleration towards the ground so the falling object would continue to accelerate towards the ground until it hit, where are a planet with an atmosphere falling objects will reach what's called a terminal velocity, that's where the air resistance prohibits the falling object from accelerating anymore, there would be no terminal velocity without an atmosphere, well aside from the constant speed of light that is.
An object falling from a height of 200 km above the surface of the moon would have a final velocity just before the point of impact of 800 m/s, and mass times velocity that's pretty scary even at the moon's gravity. Most handguns only fire at about 450 to 500 m/s, so you'd be going into the hard moon rocks faster than a handgun bullet with your own mass and the truck's mass working against you. That would be 49,600 Newtons of force just from the average mass of a human being impacting at that speed.
No unnecessary intros no teasing no garbage.

When you were doing the jump you should start on earth gravity to get up speed then change the gravity just before the jump

You should talk about the corrective "forces" that make the game more fun! For instance, vehicles in BEAM NG travel straighter, are damaged less, and rotate less upon impact than real life to give it that invincibility we expect from video game characters!

The thumbnail reminded me of something my grandfather did 50 years ago. We had a *very* big slippery elm tree, in our yard, which had a dead branch about 60ft off the ground. My grandfather used a fishing pole to loop a line over it, and replaced it with a length of hemp rope. He hooked the rooe to his new '73 Chevy pickup rear bumper and took off, expecting to pull the branch down. Needless to say, it ended like the thumbnail. Neither the truck, my grandfather, nor the tree were harmed.
